I had reservations when Avi left Pentatonix. Now, over time, I see this is where he should be.

One of the reasons he gave for leaving Pentatonix was their intense tour schedule left him no time to get out and enjoy nature. It's no accident that much of this video is shot out in the woods, or that finding the beautiful waterfall scene allows him to set down his burden. Beautiful Video Avi. I hope we see more from you in future..... At your own comfortable pace, of course! ;)

Does anyone agrees with me that this man’s voice is so soothing and the fact that the song itself so beautiful that it makes my heart fluttering.

I cried listening to this.. my whole life I've struggled with anxiety depression and ptsd so this song pulled at some heart strings. Especially the fact that his style is western/spiritual, I'm from Kansas and native american.

Ok, I don't know if Avi ever gets on here to read all of these comments, but may I just say I applaud him again and again! All of his music is so incredibly beautiful, but this song so embodies much that each and every person can relate to, especially right now in 2020. So many of us are just out there trying to get through each day with the usual burdens we bare. Some of us struggle with great anxiety and depression, and some people are near or at that breaking point. Such an uplifting song! And a great reminder that none of us are alone in our troubles. To all of those carrying their heavy loads daily, I wish you safe travels, and the encouragement to never give up or "throw in the towel". We will all get by, just don't stop believing and taking it one day at a time. And if playing this song on an endless loop helps, so be it. Since January I’ve had one milestone after another; I was robbed, then diagnosed with two infertilities(husband and I are trying to conceive), then had surgery and just a few weeks later hospitalized for a week for intense infection to kidney, intestines and urinary track, and now we just found out my husband will be losing his job and on top of it all the pandemic...this song is my motivation in this time. I felt every line in this song. I absolutely know that anxiety first thing in the morning, chest heavy, heart already racing, and the day hasn't even started. Just knowing how much work is already waiting, the daily stresses, it's a real, physical feeling. Stones upon my chest perfectly describes that. Tired of growing weary of these clouds that follow me. Swallowed by these shadows when it's sunshine that I need. I so get that. I get tired from being tired some times. I get tired of being down, and feeling depressed, and just sometimes feeling flat out run over. Literally, today, before hearing this song for the first time, I just came back from getting lunch, and the sun was shining for the first time in a while. I was soaking it up. I almost felt like a plant because I hadn't realized how much I missed it, and that holds true in life to. Sometimes it's just like, c'mon life. Give me just a bit of sunshine. This is really the title track of the album because it feels like the summation of Avi's journey the past two years. I've been following on the horizon for a while since you left PTX, and it's clear the anxiety, the pace, all of it was just weighing on you. There's nothing wrong with getting back to who you are, and it's so good to see you're doing far more than just getting by now. You're thriving. What an unbelievalby inspiring, relatable, and uplifting track.

I know - I've written a comment here before....but just had to say that this song, with the lyrics really do encapsulate my feeling and my whole being now for the last year. I stopped taking my prescribed Oxycontin pretty much exactly one year ago now - and I'm not 'just' still feeling extremely low, I still wake up every morning having physical withdrawals...just as intense as perhaps day 5 off the Oxys. And just as in this song, the toll it has taken on me have left me pretty much an empty shell, a shadow of my former self - having to carry a 250 lbs stone around...and have had to endure this hell for a year now. Well, there's not much left of me now - after an entire year of enduring this, what I can only describe as physical and mental torture...at least I feel that mentally, psychologically, there's not much left of me now. (Maybe it's not 'appropriate' to say here - but it has come to the point where I'm wholly indifferent as to whether I live through this or not. At least personally...I only keep 'enduring' for the sake of my family.). Or, in short - the only thing I have left now is a very thin slice of hope. I hope that will be enough...but to be realistic - I have my doubts! Either way - what a beautiful song! Just the kind of song I would like to hear, either at my final moments in this world - or, perhaps even being greeted by it in the next...who knows?

What a lot of people don't realize is that depression and anxiety can quite literally feel like stones that you're carrying around. It's exhausting and every time you get out of bed, every time you go out in public, every time you literally do anything, even just simple acts like brushing your teeth or putting shoes on, you add another stone. Physically, emotionally, and mentally it makes it harder and harder to actually function instead of just laying in bed all day from the weight that LITERALLY feels like it's crushing you. I've never been able to put the feelings into words, and every day I JUST get by is a victory. Its amazing that Avi has been able to put this into something so wonderful that everyone can understand.

I do miss him in Pentatonix but I love this music, his voice sounds better, I read that at the time of his leaving his mother had cancer and he wanted to be there for her, I think he also helped pick Matt.

My very first trip to Big Bend I woke up. I left the grind of life behind and touched what was nothing but an image on the wall before that day. The first night I saw the stars for what I now realize was the first time. My wife and I get back out to the real world every chance we get and everything we do, everything we are working for, is to get back to that feeling forever. Your music reminds us of all of this.
