This footage shows how an animal predator known as kingfisher attacks and eats fish. Many wild animals and fishing birds that attack wild marine creatures are experts, but no animal or bird attacks from the air as masterfully as the kingfisher. The kingfisher can be seen here in this recorded footage expertly hunting and attacking small fish prey, and it uses its unique and well-practised immobilizing technique before it feeds on the fish. Kingfishers are a species of meat-eating predatory water-hunting birds that attack and feed on many water-dwelling animals that live on and around water. They are carnivorous predators; they are masterful aerial water diving hunters of all kinds of prey living and breeding in the water in many habitats worldwide. Kingfishers have an amazing instinct to attack and eat other animals. This type of feeding behaviour has evolved over millions of years to enable them to have an extensive menu of wild protein-rich animal meat food. The kingfishers have a very diverse diet of meat from hunting and eating other aquatic creatures, and they especially like to feed on freshwater fishes. Food eaten without chewing is how kingfishers and all birds eat their food because they have no teeth for crushing, and dining on big or small portions by swallowing in gulps is how they feed. Kingfishers are avians who can be found living and breeding in almost every habitat close to water worldwide.
