This must be the 5th time I have watched through your painting videos and I never tire of seeing them! Fantastic work and great to see the realities of turning out amazing works such as this. It'd be great to see you back making videos again Mark 👍
Thanks Sharon, technically your husband is right, when the Messerschmitt 110 was produced, the factory was still using the Bf prefix. However, talk to any Battle of Britain pilot and he will refer to it as an Me110 as that was the common usage at the time from the RAF side. We have this argument a lot in our book publishing and we tend to go with Me110, Me109 for period quotes and Bf110, Bf109 in the modern text.
Respect, you are a great painter, but I can´t belive how often you change the the painting. I think the first ideas and concepts are most time the best ones. Hope to see some new making of videos to learn some of your technique. Greetings from germany Ed
Beautyfull painting and intersting to see your thougts on the painting while working on it. a point of critique if have is, that for me it seems as if the left Wing and Engine of the 110 looks larger than the right Wing wich is facing towards the viewer. Anyway, more vids please.
Really interesting to see how you work the narrative into painting, I'm just getting into painting aircraft, so look forward to seeing more of your videos soon
Talented work! I notice though a slight perspective misjudgement as the left engine appears smaller than the one on the right although it is farther away from the viewer.
Very nice..!! I actually felt the frustration of re-starting the same theme..! But looking at your time-lapse, there's a few instances where 'everything seems to be just perfect', but then you added or changed something.. either way; It came out looking looking like a champion..!! I myself started my own IL-2 (and re-started it over 12 times!) and It won the contest..! (it also won a free trip to the trash bin!...that p.o.s. painting..!!) Cheers..!!
