"But the time has come to meet your vicious end" I love the manner in which this is sung. As if the zeal the hunter once had is replaced with tiredness. That of a weary soul who is sick of war.
It actally helped me deafeat Friede on SL1 run, *NEVER AGAIN!* Edit: Midir and Gael were suprisingly easy Second Edit: I just defeated her again on SL1 (first try)
"No More Heroes is the closing song to Dystopian Fiction and the note that ends the DysFic-Worlds-Stargazers trilogy." ...that ends the DysFicWorldsStargazers trilogy? . . . GODHUNTER
Your texts make sense, your music creates a matching atmosphere. It's something new, not about love and breakups like felt "every second song" that can be heard on the radio. Love your (dark) works. They are great. I'm glad you're on RU-vid. Keep on doing great content.
-------- The Man took a deep breath as he faced off against his enemy. She was unharmed compared to his many wounds. However despite the odds, the man smiled. "It's funny..." He chuckled to himself. "I've lived longer than any man or woman. Learned all of the world's knowledge. Became powerful to protect those I cared about." He looked around, gazing at the corpses of his subordinates, each he considered family. "But in the end... I couldn't save any of them." The woman still had a blank face. "That is how life works. You work hard. You get strong. But in the end, it's all for your benefit. It will keep you alive, but never your allies." She raised her sword. "It's time, Esper. It's as they say. You either die as the hero, or you live long enough to succumb to the darkness and become the villian. So I'll save you the troubles, and let you die a hero's death." -------
@@stormfang5941 Ha... Well it is from my original series, "The Squad Universe." Not very creative, I know. However, these tiny story segments I write on videos are either non-canon or really far into the future. In short, the story isn't up to date with this since this is part of the end arc. However, if you still want to read my stories, here is my writing account. www.wattpad.com/user/Bio987123 You can read either the Echo Prequel or the Ryezures Arc to begin.
@@stormfang5941 The story can be a little... dark. Yes there is death. Yes there is blood But not really since I suck at writing gore and fights. It's a long story and can be confusing if your not reading deeply into it. But I would like it if you checked it out.
That is because it IS part of a futuristic dystopia story, spread over Aviators songs. Other songs would be but is in no way limited to: bleeding sun, godhunter, and many other songs part of the "stargazers", "dystopian fiction" and "godhunter" albums. Edit: the order is, as described in the description: "Dystopian fiction", "Building better Worlds" and then "Stargazers". "Godhunter" is also part of the universe, but not exactly the main story. If I got it correctly, Bleeding sun is the "prequel" and this song right here the "sequel", as it explains the creation story and the end of the "(God)hunter"
the fact that this is his most popular song and not some fnaf something or other makes me really happy. I've always kept this song close to my heart, and it deserves every view. Awesome work, Aviators. Keep it up.
I don't understand how this channel has so few subs. He always makes great songs and in my opinion NO ONE can replace it.He is just incredible and should be honored
Favourite track of the whole album, I love the reprise of the opening track, Exodus, in the instrumental. I can't get over how far you've come in lyrical writing and musical production. When I first heard "Never Say Forever" and "Reflections of a Dream" back in late 2011 - early 2012, I knew you'd go far but I had no idea you'd be where you are now, it's insane. Love your music so much😅
You're a stranger I'm a native In the wastes we're born afraid We're born afraid Hunt the wicked Chase disaster In the world our sin has made I'm not afraid Are you ready for the thunder? Are you ready for the freak show yet? When the curtains hit the floor I will leave you wanting more So you won't forget No more heroes left to save you Just the keepers of the bleeding sun When the sky above us fell We descended into hell Into kingdom come Taste the venom Feel the fire I'm the outlaw in the wild In the wild Under crushing Opposition The immortal angel's child Angel's child
Idols labeled sacred Greed has left us naked When the last stand comes I'll take them on again City underwater Reddened by your slaughter But the time has come To meet your vicious end
That fight makes me feel dead inside. The world is desolate and two nobodies fight it out at the edge of the earth for the Dark Soul. This is not a fight for glory, honor, revenge, or even survival. This is a fight for mercy to whomever falls, and I wouldn't have the Souls series end any other way
I found this out of nowhere after school was over and I thought it was amazing. Three years later, I’m in love with Dystopian Fiction, Godhunter, and Masks. I even played them on the many stressful trips to the airport during college break. That certainly made each song more memorable. Love your music ❤️
omg man why are you not a signed composer? you are so far ahead of the copy paste composers we are forced to deal with in "commercial" music its insane! you are godmode amazing, let nobody tell you different!
I fear if the transition to a 'signed composer' ever came, his creative freedom would be limited. Most times, you're trading freedom for publicity, unfortunately. From the basic sentiment though, I agree; so very powerful and creative; he deserves much more attention.
Well for one his music isn't about bitches sex drugs gang banging or how hard his life is so yeah that's about it. Sad but true most "music" now a days is about that. At least the big names.
I was really impressed when I first heard this. That down tempo beat, the cinematic dark, cinematic atmosphere and the Justin Timberlake-esque pop chorus is such a unique fusion of styles... One of my favorites so far!
I don't think it's fair to say that Justin Timberlake is shit, I actually like his older stuff. People have different tastes in music, lol. And it was meant as a compliment, obviously, coming from someone who likes both creators. Just cause you don't like JT doesn't mean it's automatically an insult, as they clearly meant it as a compliment.
Beautiful. The slow way that the song progresses... it feels like the villian of a book speaks, "No more here to save you, only the keepers of the bleeding sun"... simply beautiful. Keep doing an amazing work.
Alphal250 that one’s a bit of a stretch. I was thinking child of a hero, who was up to that point seen as invincible and incorruptable. People thought he would never die, but then the villain killed him, leaving only the child. The child would grow up seeing the world slowly descend into chaos, trying to help wherever he could. It would not make a difference, as he isn’t his father. At last the child comes face to face with the villain that killed his father and started the decline of the world, and he just snaps. He flies into a rage and kills everyone present. The villain would say something like; I killed all the heroes in this world. Not seeing that the child is actually far stronger than the others when he is like this. The only answer he would get; that leaves no-one to save you from me.
When I had a concussion earlier this year, the second within a month. I would just lay in the dark and listen to this on repeat. It honestly helped with the headaches. I love this song
Other people: I like this song due to the atmosphere and chords. Also, the melody is very pleasing. Me: ARE YOU READY FOR THE THUNDER??? ARE YOU READY FOR THE FREAK SHOW YET???
Can't say enough about this album, but this song specifically. I love it, so much. I've always ha a love for dark themed fiction and songs, stories etc., but from the ambiance to the lyrics, I can't say enough about this. It's almost like a villain caught a hero/symbol of good and is now breaking the hope of those that rely on that hero. So good, love this and the entire album Avi! Keep doing what you love and more greatness is ahead, I'm sure of it!
When I heard this, I began listening to all of the others. When I heard All Hallows, I had to subscribe! I am now confident in this statement: Aviators belongs right along with such the best music YTers as Melodysheep, Miracleofsound, Jonathan Young, Caleb Hayes, 331 Erock, Little Vmills, and Ten Second Songs! The incredible dynamics that goes into each song, and the rhythmic melody of both instruments and lyrics are audio magic!
My lord, you hit my favourite genre and are able to bring to life the emotions I feel, through any song I’ve heard. Thank you for your masterpieces, I appreciate them all
"I wish there was another way. But sadly, you have only given me one option. To save you all, I must end you all. An orgy of death, blood, and carnage no-one will remember but one. Me. A stain I must bear for eternity so that others may have a chance at salvation and a proper cycle. This cycle must end, so a new one can emerge with hope that it will not end."
What's that from? I want to say Dark but I'm not sure, maybe a more accurate translation of the German. Am I just unobservant and it's part of the song's lyrics description?
My own work tbh. I got randomly inspired to share some "quotes" from one character from a series I am very slowly writing, on songs that help inspire said work.
Amazing quote man, just one problem. At the last sentence you say 'end' twice in a row and it sounds kinda wonky. I'd probably replace "will not end" with something like "last forever", "stand eternal" or something like that
When I came on every new video on this channel, I'm like watching musical maganize. Every comment is a review with finished meaning and sense, full of trully experiences, memories and allusions. Nothing unnecessary, all in re. Think that this is deserving rating of Aviators' creations.
This video: (plays song) What I expected: No more heroes It’s kill or be killed Look after nobody but yourself - nothin’ else to do No more heroes No time to stand still If you are gonna be the no.1
I frequently come back to this song lol but it’s more like a misunderstood character for example: like the evil queen went after Snow White because the story was Snow got the evil queens boyfriend killed by her mom because she told her mom about them being together. That’s why evil queen was misunderstood and hated Snow White. This belongs to a character that is misunderstood.
And this guy only has 100k subs. Like, does no one else think that Avi could easily top or at least match a lot of artists that are famous for similar works? I'm not here saying that mainstream music is bad or terrible. But like, seriously how is this guy not up there with them?
Derpy Hooves Nobody knows. Probably he's not interested at the mainstream, or the mainstream is not interested at him. But seriously, do we want it? Look at Linking Park.
@@chegrazinou Pity the cookie cutter pop artist - They are controlled by brands and labels and have to sing what the Collective wants, talented or no, and even if they hate every minute of it, it's fame or freedom with nothing in between.
... Heroes? They are everywhere. Great and small, well, not well, and everything inbetween. You just haven't been looking hard enough. Maybe there's one in you... Just waiting for the chance to do whatever needs to be done.
"When Earth imself is in agony everyone can be a hero, but what is a hero in a world already dead ? sometime fight the destiny is just a stupid thing." think about it.
@@ledocteur7701 But even so, the truest of heroes will still fight. There's a quote in Lord of the Rings that sums this up perfectly; it was something along the lines of "Certainty of Death. Small chance of success. What are we waiting for?" Heroes don't always win, and some are not even seen as heroes. Take Vigilantes for example; they could be heroes to some, and menaces to others. Spiderman is the perfect example of this. But in the comics, even he dies in some storylines, but certainly not without a fight; but also almost braking his one rule and revealing his secret identity. He takes on the Sinister Six, after taking a bullet for Captin America and swinging to intercept them (at HIS house) from the Brooklyn Bridge. his last act before collapsing is repeatedly slamming a semi-truck on the green goblin. and his last words, " I did it Uncle Ben, I.. Did.... i--t...." Certain death, zero chance of surviving, and still he fought to protect. when people like that are no more, or people that can inspire people to do great things through their actions are no more, we can say, without a shadow of a dought, that there are no more heroes.
Dude I really love your music I legit can't stop listening to your works it's very pleasing to the ears what ever you do man please don't stop doing what your doing 👍😁
This is the song that introduced me to your channel 3 years ago and I’ve been a fan ever since. I love your songs Avi! Thanks for creating them and introducing me to other fandoms and artists along the way! (When I first found this song I would always walk home from work playing it, and “we descended into hell” would play near the Christian school along the way. Always made me laugh)
So I read the description, and it sounds like Blade Runner is trying to fight the end of the Dark Souls trilogy. Warrior ascends mortality looking for purpose at the end of the world.
WTF, it’s currently at 1.2 million views, I checked it like maybe 2-3 months ago and it was at just 60k. I think we know who the RU-vid algorithms are favouring.
My introduction to your music back when I was still in junior year of high school and now I’m finally getting into more of your music in my sophomore year of college. Your discography and your voice is mind blowing
This reminds of a book series called "The Beyonders" I read as a teenager. The title of the firts book was literally "The World Without Heroes". I wish this was a bit darker and more serious. Then it would be the best series I ever read.
Good lord, I love your music. It has a sort of vibe that i can't really place but it's a perfect balance of rock, electro, pop, and a bunch of shiz. Absolutely amazing.
No More Heroes now? I expected that you will upload it as the last song from DysFic album, but that's your decision. Still very good song. Keep the good work.
Pity the cookie cutter pop artist - They are controlled by brands and labels and have to sing what the Collective wants, talented or no, and even if they hate every minute of it, it's fame or freedom with nothing in between.
I heard you fall, as though it was my own blood and kin, I fell to shock, numb to the reality. You were gone, you’d been with me all along, without ever knowing you. But suddenly the promise of our shared rage was nothing but an empty cage. I’d broken free and never realised you were still trapped there, struggling with it all, cursed to fall. What would I have done to see it stop, to know you had somewhere safe to land, fighting something I thought I could understand. I hear your voice, though the singer might change, the echo of what you said still remains. The songs of angels I hope sing it ever after, as I listen to this rendition I think of how I have to go further. Know that in the end, that it mattered, that the lives you surrounded with just your pain made all the difference to those about to sink below. And I won’t give up, I’ll go on, knowing forever that your song lives on. Thank you for the cover, you both have mesmerizing voices, and caught me out of the blue during a writing spree. I hope anyone reading this knows that Chester never meant the end for you, never for you. Breathe on.
And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened; and another book was opened, which is the book of life; and the dead were judged from the things which were written in the books, according to their deeds. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead which were in them; and they were judged, every one of them according to their deeds. Revelation 20:12-13
This song was the first I heard from Aviators, and its what got me to try them. After "Let there be fire" I subscribed, knowing this wasn't a one off success. This song is, in essence, what I use to introduce people to Aviators
I just found this channel, it’s absolutely amazing, wish there would be more uploads, but sadly it looks like they’ve stopped ;-; Whoever you are, thank you for this music :)
There are those who even braved Hell itself to keep their loved ones... There are some who brave that still today. For goodness sake, and for those who we know and love, some still face dangerous and destructive events; making them for great reading material later when all record is opened before the whole.
Such a pretty song. I remember when I first listened to Wake Me When It's Over and thinking "wow, it's so pretty! I hope the rest of the album is like this." luckily, I wasn't disappointed. Three of my favorites (in order of track number) are Bleeding Sun, I Don't Want to Hurt You, and this song right here. Really good album man.
Hearing this is making me really tempted to buy the whole album. I found my way here thanks to Fading Light on VaatiVidya's SoulSong series. You've got some serious talent. I haven't heard a song yet that wasn't a delight to listen to. I know Dystopian Fiction is already out, but have you ever considered writing an XCOM inspired song? The themes of resistance and false (alien) idols and remaining human in the pursuit of freedom, all feel rather at home with this album's subject matter.
A lot of Aviators' lyrics aren't very specific. That said, if you're looking for themes of resistance, Aviators has A LOT of those songs... The abum "Building Better Worlds" is based off a revolution theme, I'm pretty sure.
@@NightIy Blake was talking about the Stargazer-World-DysFi trilogy made of the Aviators albums. Yes, our King wrote a rock-ballad comprising of almost 4 hours and three albums. Awesome, moving and mesmerizing work! I was greatly moved as I listened to this, cast into a great, lonely journey that would send me into a harrowing struggle. I love this!
Its been some time since I listen to this... everything changes ...update 12 jan 2022.. now I hear your song "for the first time" again after a few years this work of song/soul art went on repeat....take care! Love Lena
This song has become my favourite, really. I keep having it in my head. Simply gorgeous. ♪ And that synth gets me everytime. It's brings so much feels!
Here where my aviators adventure started with this song a year ago i wanna thank this band for lighting my dark nights and for bringing joy again into my life with their music
I remember when this was uploaded and I'm glad to see how over 2 and a half million of come to enjoy such an epic piece. Though 'Open Your Eyes' will always be my favorite, this comes in a close second with 'Mirrors'.
Hero’s and villains are like a coin the same can be said about creation and destruction if I do right or wrong doesn’t really matter because if your the villain of this world welcome to hell because there ain’t no god and there is no more hero’s so welcome to paradise
the image looks like it's from the movie "Priest". i really enjoyed that movie. i believe the image is from the part when the antagonist attacks a town and is walking down the center of the town just before some of the Priests try to kill him and fail miserably.
