You know what impresses the shit out of me? How Avicii can work with FL Studio, a pair of Rokits, and a keyboard - and he's one of the most successful producers today. I mean shit, you see these guys with these $100,000+ studios filled with analog gear - which is really cool, don't get me wrong. But at the same time, it's really impressive to see someone do so much with so little, and it's inspirational to people who don't have the resources or money to produce with tons of fancy gear.
Avicii makes basicly a whole remix in just 70mins, totaly worth to watch. Although I hardly believe that he'll change the effects, presets and drumloops later, which uses just as a "reference", the arrangement he made is brilliant. Hard to keep up his producing speed which is freaking insane. Btw never saw such a mess of an arrangement ;) brilliant
The Fruity Wrapper is just the software used in FL Studio that opens external VST plugins. It's a script that wraps external VST's and gives them basic FL Studio functions (Like linking parameters to a controller).
QUOTE FOR TRUTH! Alrighty here we go I use Fl studio have been for years. The idea behind the production quality sucking is non sense. It's up to you the producer. Don't mix in gaming headphones! Don't mix everything on 1 channel. Actually spend the time to learn the program and you'll be lethal with it. I have mad respect for the people that agree with me and it's the real producers that take the time to learn there stuff. Not everything will sound great out of the box and it's up to you!
Deadmau5, Avicii, Laidback Luke, Arty all use it. BT and Armin Van Buuren have both promoted FL Studio's virtues and tests show it to have superior audio quality to most DAWs on the market. I went to school for audio engineering, my productions have seen support from industry legends and I've used most DAWs on the market. I own Sonar X1, FL Studio 10 and Ableton Suit 8. For electronic music FL Studio is incredible (perhaps the best); there is no aspect of audio it does not cover in depth
@antecno i use all this too, but this doesnt mean that im making good music, at least at this moment but im doing progress and now i know i'm on the right way
@FarandulaClub His Sylenth1 is definitely cracked. I watched the full dvd and they have a close up where it shows Team VTX 2011. What's funny is when he says he "just downloaded a new plugin" and that he "just got around to buying it".
@3510211 What version of Sylenth in this video is he using? I have seen the demo version of Sylenth 1 but it doesn't look as modern as the one in this video...
@xenoneternal Take my comment with a grain of salt. This IS a professional producer, and all things considered, is that *really* a lot? Take a look at some other producers' studios which can be at least 5 times more expensive than that (which is an understatement), many of whom aren't even close to as good as Tim Berg. I saw and know what all the gear he's using is, and I wasn't trying to be accurate in my post. I was just trying to get a point across.
@88res thats how music producers use time machine. otherwise it would take several years to find all those configuration/setup/presets .... dont you think so?
I don't know why people say FL sucks or FL is for noobs,FL is like other DAW,it doesnt matter what DAW u use,but how u use all thing in DAW,and your inspiration! you can create production in FL like in Cubase or Logic Pro,its the same shi*
@alejandrogandarafilm At this point, it's not about what you have but how you use it. It's all a matter of preference now. I remember when I was strictly a hardware guy and then hip hop producers found out that 9th Wonder was making gritty hip hop beats with FL Studio. That totally changed my perspective But I'm actually an Ableton Live/Mac user ;)
Proof that the DAW you use means next to shit, its the producer using it that makes it happen, he doesn't appear to have any solid musical knowledge he makes what he feels and articulates it through his understanding of his software and music.
It's realy cool, but when I saw the full version, I saw that Avicii uses a lot of presets and loops. I like producers who are creatin' there own synths and loops.
@AstrioOfficial why? fl studio it's fuckin amazing, i don't see why people keeps saying that fl isn't proffesional. look at porter robinson, afrojack, even deadmau5 uses it sometimes...
hey guys does anyone know the VST from 0.46 - 0.55. the one where he makes the strings. please pm me if u know it or reply back here. cheers :) avicii. very talented
@KissMyTranceTv Are u really thinking he needs to buy any plugin? the Sylenth's developers paid him to use it only looking for publicity! He is THE MAN...
@DJRAVECUTS Some do, some don't. I find paying for things to be much more rewarding, if you don't learn how to invest in things and work to getting them you rarely manage to learn the lower levels and how to use a product to its fullest potential. I don't promote piracy, I promote education, most native/free plugins can do exactly what the expensive ones can, you just have to learn how. That being said, most plugins are insanely overpriced. (NI-the same plugin 4 times equally priced)
@Chowertime88 Yes ! :) 5 years ! I thought of upgrading but.. every time I had this in my mind.. FL Studio was screaming.. "Don't you leave me you son of a.." :))) So many years have shown me that FL Studio has a big potential as DAW. I like a lot FL Studio and I got so used to it that I can't even think about learning another DAW :)
Your mix will never sound the same on other devices. Gaming headphones boost the frequencies thus coloring the audio. Imagine listening to your music in a car or in speakers. It will sound off and not how you think it sounds like in your gaming headphones.
Maaan :D FL Studio, reFX Nexus, Sylenth1, VEC samples and Midi-key., My favorite Producer use the same samples and plugins like me *_* what's the difference? Avicii is just more famous. I hope that one day my music arrives just as good as that of Avicii :)
I know this is "Avicii vs. Eric Turner - Dancing in my head (Been cursed Mix)" but I can't find this exact song. The intro to this video is epic, anyone know where to find this exact version?
ha. let them keep talking about fl studio. they truly know nothing. . guys i found the full "making of..." video for this video. check it out. /watch?v=XTUQrHlHiiI
