Avid Pro Tools CutScene using AppleScript and Visual Basic 

From a EDL we could do so much.
As I love the Ediload app but I can't afford it I've tried to create one of the features that I love from Ediload is the CutScene.
I import the EDL into OpenOffice, then I use Visual Basic to clean the EDL after that I applescript macro that copy and past the TC of each scene start and cut the video and create a marker in Pro tools in the right number.
