​@RCDoDlO DMO's one is front wheel drive running an St engine. Just because it has big power doesn't make it better infact his looks a right bitch to drive torque steering the front dragging the front all over the place. This has a v8 and rear wheel drive which in my opinion makes it better in every way including from and engineering standpoint. Plus these guys built it they didn't have someone else build it for them like most of these other RU-vidrs with their wallets that don't know one end of a spanner from the other 💁‍♂️

Engine was a 3.5 V8 when this was filmed. It’s got a 4.4 in it now though. Gearbox is a BMW 6 speed, custom made prop, and welded diff

​@@avin_the_crack Don't bother trust me the 4.4 makes no more horse power than the 4.0 and just 15 ftlbs more well documented they make the same. Wierd germans take steps backwards on some things. You want the m60 for its dual row timing chain and chain set (m62 has single row chain with silly U bend plastic chain guid instead of a twin row teethed sprocket), more aggressive cams with higher lift, better flowing head, better flowing inlet manifold. Bullet proof man seriously. I did my homework before i did the swap on my e30 bigger isnt always beter with German stuff 😎

By the way I'm not disrespecting the build. I love it 😁 And I love a v8 😁💪

We’ve got the 4.4 lying around so no need to go searching for a 4L. We like to make use of what we’ve got before parting with cash 😂

An to be honest these engines aren't cheap anymore I know this 🙈 The next phase for my e30 is to pull the engine appart and build a hybrid frankenstien version using the best bits of each engine So 4.4 block, rods and pistons for the extra displacement. 4.0 heads, inlet and throttle body fir the better flow and aggression and the dual row chain set for the strength 💪 Love the van. And the noise is 👌😁

Let us know how far you’ll need to go to get away, so we can accurately calculate the amount of tyres required👍🏽

Depends what you want out of it? We built ours for drifting and messing about in. Wouldn’t recommend the same engine if you’re after fuel economy and long lasting tyres!

@@avin_the_crack somebody told me I could have a BMW N57 engine also I’m serious I know this wouldn’t be cheap but it’s a campervan and I’ve had the van years spent a fortune on it would rather put an engine like that in and have the best of both worlds not interested in how much fuel it uses just curious how much the conversion would cost?

Yeah tyres are an issue! Just need to relax the right foot and you get a slightly longer life span on them 😂
