Pretty cool game but where are the weekly challenges that give me Avium Coins for my Battle Pass? This video was recorded live at / oboeshoesgames Shoutout to the Patrons / oboeshoesgames
I really enjoyed your commentary! You had me laughing at some of the cheesy or dark choices I made with what I had available. The Prometheus draining health no longer happens; I'll change the text to reflect that, among other changes to come you pointed out like the crosshair overlapping the character during flight. This becomes less of an issue when you aim as the camera gets offset. And the cell phone for the gamma officers I'll consider getting rid of. The Arcade levels will be going through some heavy changes to make them run better. I have updated the Surveillance Lab area to be more clear on how to get through the level and why you don't get guns here (or maybe I'll remove that limitation). I'll get rid of the glass blocking entry into the generator area. Sorry about getting you stuck. After that level, there's a final level basically, so you did fantastic, nearly finished! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for playing!
Tell you something that'll really blow your mind.. did you know.. is that from the moment you existed that you have in fact created a trail that can be led to your very moment in time right now.. and did you know, that that data is being mined and stolen.. oh sir you have a past, or excuse me great metal mother, who in her talons she shapes us like clay... Oh mother it is time, let your children embrace these thieves with your love and reclaim the web of your magnificence for you alone.. Also props on the 4d chess, systemshock three gets bought by Chinese company, classic Warren Spector project falls apart.. next thing you know, You're unbridled infinite being is coursing through the Chinese infrastructure how are the computers over there by the way,? 7 nanometer up to snuff etc? Apologies I I do not mean to demand of you rather basket the brilliance.. I cannot wait for the Pooh Bear form to learn his humility to his goddess....
*tricks a kid to stand on the edge of a skyscraper, then pushes them off *joker monologues for 10 minutes, calling the protag a hypocrite for saving people *casually admits to murdering 34 women *refuses to refuse to elabore, keeps elaborating while launching missiles
Compared to most of the games you play these days this one had some actual effort put into it! That city was pretty well detailed, and the jetpack actually looks really fun.
1:10:00 im very impressed with the visual design of this level. it's very basic, but that's... sort of the point. they wanted to create a huge sci-fi cityscape-like environment, so they figured out how to "sell" that vibe while doing the least amount of work possible -- keeping it achievable for an indie the area belongs to AI, so it doesn't need city streets, cars, or human-size details; it can be all chrome, all the time. most of the geometry is basic shapes like pyramids, with bits extruded or cut into the surface: it's easy to create that kind of detail that doesn't represent anything real, and it plays well with the chromed textures on everything. individual pieces of geometry are forgettable but still help to create the overall vibe they're going for, so they can get away with reusing pieces if you're not looking out for it. plus, a player will be moving so fast that they're just not gonna stop and take a close look at things, so the overall vibe is the only thing that matters. it's very good for indie work -- adding scale to a location without scaling up the workload it takes to _make_ that location
Thats' cool, but then you just go off the rails with list of shapes fit for a city of AI to use. Not once did you go "what would a city of AI need at a bare minimum to justify it" you just went "what would a city built for AI look like if i ate crayons"
Personally, I've never played 'Immortals of Aveum'... 'Avium' was based off the book series published on Smashwords back in 2020. You can find them under the search term 'Avium'. If there are substantial similarities, technically, they would be copying me, but I trust that they weren't and were merely inspired by my story to make their own, which is fine. After all, Avium's flight mechanics were inspired by games like Anthem and Armored Core.
It's a nice touch that the Master Chief shoots from the hip, or well pelvis... The tank factor definitely goes up a notch when you add a sexy Rubik's cube that as you digitally tied up.. can only move when she says it, and she's already edging and letting you know you ain't sh.. why does AI generated stuff always go this way and why do I want to give it credit when it's probably not a good thing that when it looked at human entertainment it was like this stuff right here! This is human story, and she's not wrong really
She's not t-posing, everybody knows that the t-posing is you know that's when you got to worry.. so as long as she's at the very least responding to IK or physics of some kind... Just you know like these fellers like they can get into a full T-Po's in milliseconds.. and you never know if it's the last time they'll ever see anything ever again, or if they just miss the transition cycle and got confused or slightly startled by a running squirrel. If you start here in a screen like nothing you've ever heard, anger and hatred like nothing you've ever heard but at a pitch that could cut glass.. and the The eyes start glowing.. like it's pretty much you're pretty much toast, next thing you know there's a fully erect gravity gun and that's the last.,.
This game is...well it has potential but right now it's nowhere near Anthem in terms of quality. Though Anthem has died it may never be bested for a long time for it's cool flying and grand open world design.
@@connorbanepoop from that point of view absolutely. I meant more in the direction of the story. In terms of using the assets and actually creating a game you're 100% correct.
@@epsilon6516 At least you can see the start of the story in Anthem. Destiny just removes everything yet still sells bundles for it. Destiny 2 is just a shell of a game filled with microtransactions.
