HYPNOTIZED is about fake friendships. The people that want to know all about you so they can use it against you later. I'm no stranger to people trying to take advantage of me or using things I've shared in confidence to later stab me in the back. I want people to listen to this song and go; No. Wait. I'm better than this. I deserve the best. I want to remind people not to slip into the golden glow of 'fitting in' even if it's at your own expense. It's a fine line everybody dances at different points throughout their lives in all different types of relationship- when we know someone is taking us for a ride but we want it to be true. We want to fit in with their 'crew' even if we know they're fake and don't actually care. When they listen to HYPNOTIZED I want people to listen to realise that they deserve people who care about them for themselves, wholly and completely.

Is it just me or is AViVA’s voice getting better and better. I love her voice now, especially in this song. I’m not saying her singing was bad before, it was awesome, but in my opinion, it seemed a bit overdone, like she was trying too hard. Just my opinion I don’t mean to hate on her old voice, which was also really good.

I disagree, sorry. Aviva is a naturally good singer and while you can improve your singing even if you're already good at it, she puts lots of effects on her voice so it's hard to tell. Maybe she is getting better at singing but it's hard to tell. I don't think she needs to get better anyways. Though, I love the way her accent sounds while she's rapping :)

She's always sounded good, though. I feel like there's other songs were she is more expressive, and I personally like that. It's funny though how when someone brings out the best in their performance, it will be seen as "overdone" when other artists put in barely any effort at all and we praise them. I'm sorry, I sound really rude. I'm happy that you like her music though :)

Hypnosis: the induction of a state of consciousness in which a person apparently loses the power of voluntary action and is highly responsive to suggestion or direction. AViVA said the song expresses how some people appear to care about you, but instead use and manipulate you and make you feel like they don’t. Really love this music that always has from awesome lyrics to catchy beats. I will actually read all the lyrics so I can sing along. 🖤🤍💚🎶💚🤍🖤

Notice how the eyes are looking around as if looking out for something. This indicates they’re looking at the other pictures and keeping out for what they do. This strong pin point points out how they scan everything someone does or what everyone does just to know to be like them. And knowing the songs lyrics, this is obviously a song about fake friends. So when betrayed by them, you often think you’re annoying and have no way of being liked. So the only way for you to have real friends is to be normal. I honestly relate to this song because most people I know betrayed me. I went through a huge depression and as years moved on, the happiness slowly drained from my body. I just can’t be happy anymore.

I know this song is about fake friends but when I first heard I thought it was about being expected to do something and several people (biological family or whoever) are enforcing that. Akin to the heteronormative environment and expectations I and so many others are pushing against. Aviva is one of the few artists to create a song that could mean something different to different people and I love that so much.
