I used to play Gmod copies of the games I wanted to play because my mobile Celeron 1.9GHz dual core CPU from 2010 could only just about run it. I reckon thats a reason for a lot of players, Gmod runs on virtually anything cheap / modern... I couldn't play Arma 2 let alone DayZ.
