Sir Qazi! Thank you for all of the over the top content and the wealth of knowledge you share with all of us. I’ve learned so much from you trying to apply your teachings and techniques to my travel vlogs i’m starting to create. No matter what I do I cannot make my gopro footage looking good when I try to emulate your node structure and techniques. I been shooting in Protune w/flat profile, 10-bit, -1 exposure, low sharpening, auto white balance. I know the bulk of the problems come from the camera, small sensor, lens etc. Of all the content I see out there attacking gopro footage my results never look the same. Of course the promo content that gopro advertises use some methods to make the most well produced marketing videos. I would love to see and I’m sure many others that follow you make a video showing how you would color grade gopro footage and both well shot footage and footage not show so well also. I know you have the luxury of working with amazing footage from amazing cameras, but love to see you massage the dreadful gopro! Thanks for all you share and teach 🔥🔥💣💣🙏🙏🙌🙌

hey brotha i had recently switched to the 18.5 beta and now my FX6 XAVC-I footage is being recognized as sony raw. Can you either reply in the message on an explanation to this or create a video going into depth on if its actually raw or is it the same as going into primaries and adjusting the image that way? love your page brotha
Great videos. I've already learned a lot. I'm using the "leeming lut" for my Sony HLG3 BT2020 footage. This lut should give perfect colors and transform to rec709. But how to color corect? Before or after applying this lut?
QUESTION: Why did you have to use 250D when 2383 already looked much closer to the look you were going for. I always end up using just one. Explain please? Thanks.
Just wow, always fan of your and i would like to know, why you keeping the noise reduction node in the first place of node tree? and what if i kept it on the last ?
The idea is that it happens before the grain/texture node... it can be right before the grain node if you like, Qazi just happens to like throwing it on right at the start. I personally add noise reduction after my primaries but before my grain. In this example at least, Qazi does Noise Reduction, Primaries, Grain, Look. I personally do Primaries, Noise Reduction, Grain, Look. So what happens if you add noise reduction to last, well, you will reduce the noise of the grain and that might look weird and be counter-productive. If you don't want to add grain at all, putting noise reduction at the end of the node structure is perfectly fine and in some cases, I think preferable.
I remember someone saying it's better for caching and because you can work on newer nodes with the image already cleaned up (noise can affect your grade or workflow)

I find myself getting a bit lost on the different methods of attaining certain film looks. In this tutorial you recommend FilmBox but in other you've said Look Designer. Do you have one 'go to' or take it on a case by case basis?
These are his special designed luts... these transforms are likely build into the LUT themselves. If you sign-up to the free course and get them, open them in notepad to read the information... they likely say what input and output they are designed for. I guess the important thing to note though is there are Qazis' specially designed LUTs. I'm looking forward to trying them myself!
