"To Kill a Mockingbird" is a perfect example of the Southern way of expressing oneself. Harper Lee uses the word "reckon" frequently throughout the novel. This was a great lesson. Thank you so much.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 P.S. I didn't understand what she was trying to say either.😂

I understand How difficult it is to learn good English when it is not your mother language, but when you decide to become an English teacher you must pay more attention to grammar and try to sound and think more like a native English speaker because students will believe you as a teacher…thanks Kevin for your explanations 😊

When she said "children's place is lifted almost everywhere" she meant children`s seat in the vehicle. You can use the words "seat" and "place" in Russian almost interchangeably. For example, you can say driver`s seat or driver`s place. But, frankly, I`m not sure.

"Children place is lifted almost everywhere" - This part seems to suggest that Covid-19 restrictions related to children's places or facilities have been lifted in most places they've visited. It could mean that children's facilities, such as playgrounds or parks, are open and accessible without many COVID-19 restrictions. However, there is indeed a slight mistake here: "Children place is lifted" should be rephrased as "Restrictions on children's places have been lifted" or "Children's facilities are open."
