Avoid the Theme's Global Colours and Use Elementor

I have been battling between these two every single website I build. If we're going to use elementor for everything, how do you think a powerful theme like astra still plays a role? Why not a default theme from wordpress, or a hello theme which I in fact found to be poorly performing related to Astra. I'm still going with Astra pro regardless, but just trying to justify this combination. Any thoughts?

Thanks. I have Elementor Pro and Astra Pro and have tried to get the question of which to use for global fonts and global typographer. One question on this. If you use Elementor for this, will WooCommerce, LearnDash, Gutenburg blocks, and other plugins also inherit the colors and typographer. I once read something that this is a reason to use the theme. Also, there is also Astra/Elementor overlapping functionality for headers, footers, and hooks. Which product do you recommend for this.

It doesn't matter what I do. I have those 2 boxes unchecked and still the link font line height will not update. I've done everything.. Cleared all cache, deactivated several plugins. At this point I need expert help. 😭

Hello theme does not seem to have any options to add colours in the customiser - so does this mean the options of tick or untick the display settings in elementor

Thanks for your video. Something I don't understand...Let's say you want to change H3 color for all H3 tags and you're using the HELLO theme. When you use "Site settings" --> "Design System" --> "Global Colors", you can create a H3 color, but you'll have to attach it to that color every time you drag a header and choose the H3 html tag? If you instead use the "Site settings" -- > "theme style" you can set each color for each H-tag permanently and don't have to attach the color every time afterwards? What am I missing here?

Hi there. Yes, your video is helpful. Still, after using the free Elementor for years now, I notice they're pushing customers to go Premium by slowly and sneakily removing privilege tools. Despite the virtues of Global coloring, etc., there are moments where that doesn't work, meaning hyperlinks against a white bkgd do not function likewise against a darker one. So I've always had control to adjust these accordingly. The option of selecting a font color has been removed. Why??? And, when I do set global colors in Elementor settings (hamburger), I get a mix of new settings and original colors. Bloody weird. I've compromised on my artist resume page, but then am quick to notice original (and preferable) white hyperlinks just below the new gray ones, that I might use them against a white background. Your video is one year old, and it may be very possible that Elementor have committed their crimes ever since. A darn shame, although I'm sticking to them. Not convinced going Premium will allow both them and me to have our way. Not risking it. One last thing, for those who agree with your advising us NOT to use Wordpress global color settings: when I poke around Appearances, etc., I notice colors are selected and can NOT be unselected. Hopefully Elementor overrides those, albeit, I'm still stuck with the above mentioned contradictions. Sigh...

I need help. Seriously! Maybe this could be a use case (me being the idiot, and you saving the day) video for others to learn from. I did everything you instructed in the video above, but whether I click Off, or click On (Disable Default Colors), I still CANNOT control them in Elementor (Site Settings > Global Colors > System Colors or Custom Colors). I am using a template I purchased, which has many excellent reviews, yet even with the Disable Default Colors clicked On, I can't even edit all of the site's colors in the theme's Styling area. I've spent days trying to find ways to edit these colors, and I've finally given up. I am HOPING you can help! Want to do a video? I'll even pay you for an hour at your rate, just to learn from you. Please help! Thank you.
