I'm the fat lazy hamster who has never wanted to get on the rat race wheel and can't wait for the minute I can get off it.

Grateful for this channel! You're one of the rare financial advisors I can listen to without me needing to separate the wheat from the chaff of their song-and-dance.

Ari, I absolutely LOVE James and you. (I met him first.) Don't worry, I'm happily married and old enough to be your mother. I'm figuring this stuff out myself. It takes me A LOT of time, but I'm a CPA, I love working with numbers, and I feel like with y'all's RU-vid help, I'm fine on my own. Thank you for saying that it's ok. My husband is in his last month of working, and this one put him at ease about not having it all figured out. Thank you for this!

One of my favorite messages. You’re so welcome Janet! I laughed at your second sentence. Glad it helped the hubby :)

It must be really interesting getting in the mind of a retiree, it's not like you have personal experience in it (yet). Money is the same through the years but the other stuff is the tricky part.

You’re correct. It’s one thing to study it, and another thing to live it. Here are clients talking about the tricky part you’re alluding to: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MZaTOHF1YUA.htmlsi=ZtSCYP9pD9RtsqUH

Excellent video! After my first attempt at retiring I felt like I should be running. It was not knowing what I wanted to do in retirement that drove me back to work the first time. Love you guys for helping me become a Leisure Listener!! I am looking forward to Early Retirement 2.0 and taking more time to really figure out what I want to do in this next phase of life. Thank you, Ari!

cash flow > expenses is the key. cash flow = rental income + investment income/dividends/capital gains + pension/social security + portfolio withdrawals expenses = rent/mortgage if any + basic needs + insurance + entertainment + utilities/etc + car pmts/loans
