Pikler Triangle - piccalio.com?aff=52
Baby and toddler development is the foundation for all learning and growth that comes after! Playing with toddlers can be tricky as they start to test their boundaries. But letting your little one explore as they’re learning to climb, walk, run, and MOVE is so important! When it comes to motor skills, you baby and toddler need to test those limits to help them learn.
In this video, I give you some parenting tips I’ve learned along the way to optimize child development.
One of my favorite toddler activities to help improve fine and gross motor skills is CLIMBING! We recently got a Pikler Triangle from Piccalio and our girls LOVE it!
If your baby is learning to climb, you’ll love the Pikler Triangle! Plus, it’s one of the best ways to entertain baby with fun rainy day toddler activities and winter toddler activities.
If you love Montessori style parenting, you’ll love this video!

Struggle gives birth to self sufficiency. Love that.

Love this! It would be great if you could be transparent about sponsored/affiliate content - not sure if you used an affiliate link or not, but it’s always nice when folks are clear about that. Thanks for the wonderful content, as always!!

Reminds me of the wild pandas vs. the pandas kept in a sanctuary. Naturally, the babies learn to climb trees really high up and wild pandas will leave their babies in search of food, during this time, the babies will climb and be left in the tippy tops of trees for up to two days so the male pandas don’t kill them because they want the female pandas to go back in heat. In the sanctuary, mother pandas only follow raising what has been taught to them and stop the babies from climbing. It’s only natural. But it keeps them from doing anything self sufficient as they usually wouldn’t in the wild. Pretty interesting.

I used to watch your videos when I was pregnant with my first in 2020 and after I had her I stopped watching because I associated you with pregnancy and birth. BUT I just came back to your channel because I was looking for gentle sleep training advice and saw your video! Now I’m here scrolling and realizing your knowledge goes way beyond pregnancy and birth! I respect your advice for my son (born 2021) because our views align so im happy to be back listening ❤️ I think my husband needs to watch this video lol

My 13mo LOVES her arch. Really similar to the triangle. It makes me a nervous wreck and a very proud mama to watch her play on it. 💗

It’s funny because we don’t have any fancy climbing stuff but we live by the beach and have tons of surf boards around and ever since my son could climb we have propped the boards on the couch, out on the deck and anywhere else so that he can climb up them then slide down. I also stack my yoga blocks and he loves to climb up those then jump down. I’m also that mom that lets my son climb on the back of the couch then jump onto the cushions. I think encouraging exercise of any kind is so important!! Love this video!

Love this video! Thank you! My only question would be… when exploring the pickle triangle and an imminent accident is about to happen and I’m able to stop it from happening… should I or do I just let my kid learn from that? Don’t get me wrong, I’m all about teaching them through experiences but my husband is a bit more apprehensive 😬 thanks again!

doing everything for them which I did for almost a decade leaves them unstimulated and bored more often,.. it also does not help on their self confidence.

ROLL your “R”s while your baby is babbling so they retain the ability to make this sound. It will come in handy when learning another language.
