1. Soil - loose enough for the seeds’ roots to penetrate 2. Water - just enough 3. Humidity - greenhouse to keep the moisture 4. Heat - important to note especially when temperatures are dropping outside; use heat pads if necessary 5. Light - to avoid leggy seedlings; adding a fan is optional i watched almost all of your videos and they really help me so much! thank you for sharing your knowledge on gardening ♡
@@love2love56 l recently walked away from 2 decades in construction to grow and maintain the kitchen garden of a hotel set in a vineyard. I’m so happy l feel like there’s something wrong with me. I recommend you follow your dream.
I love how your videos are short, direct, simple, & organized 💞 there are some gardening channels I follow but just don’t watch because I can’t watch an hour long video.. even if I speed it up!
@@DaisyCreekFarms Jag Jean is correct, there are a lot of channels with a lot of good information but they waste peoples time by "waffling" (you might need to google that! ;-) ) - I love your channel because you get to the point! 🙂👏
Namaste Ji, I appreciate all of your videos and am thrilled to keep watching. I’d like to share an experience I had for the benefit of your health and the health of others. I was working with organic compost and got sick with Legionnaires disease. One way to prevent getting this is to wear gloves!!! I always use gloves now and recommend you protect yourself as well! Keep up the spectacular work! Jin de raho
This guy is just infectiously happy makes me want to go out and do some happy gardening! His videos are perfect short and straight to the point been binge watching his videos I think I will have better results this year.
Your videos are so informative and best of all to the point and not overly complicated. Please keep posting! I'm going to try gardening for the first time this year. Thank you!!!!
Yes, lost few pounds and got a tan in the sun as well. Farm work is hard but I love it and enjoy it :) Need to take it easy and eat more, burning more calories. Thanks for caring
Daisy Creek Farms with Jag Singh Haha, such fun! Gardening/farming is such a gratifying experience! Excited to see the bulb show and the fruit trees that you plant!
Jag g, can you teach how to grow indian chillies, as we do not get in Nederlands, I would like to grow. Also teach me how to construct economical green house , and maintain temperature(mainly in early spring n fall). As we have short summer. I am new so your guidance will be appreciated.
Hi, i live in a very warm place. i took my seedlings outside to get light bc they became very leggy. however, their leaves were curling bc of the heat. 🙁
Discovered your videos tonight and really enjoying them. I'm a complete novice who is keen to start growing seedlings from home. So thank you. I'm learning alot from your videos. Greetings from Durban, South Africa
My spinach seedlings are eaten away by root maggots andthey all died . I have also sown some other seeds. Do you have quick solutions that can kill root maggots so that I can save my seedlings?
Great videos! Glad I found your channel. I’m curious, I grew some ground cherries in a container with a cover. The seeds sprouted and grew quickly. Within less than a hour of removing the cover, the plants all died. What is a good way to transition the plants to avoid this? Thank you.
Hi it also happened to me so if you are using clear plastic bag when the seed start to sprout every day remove the shopper from the plant for 10 min or if you are using clear dome do the same or wait till true leaves come out then remove the clear dome
Can you make a video on what I need to buy to start my small plantations. For example small or even big equipments, what types of sand/soil and what types of pots. I am really new at this and really want to start planting.
Many times when you are young you do not know how to appreciate something and when you are old you value it. In Mexico, in Monterrey, my mother threw the seeds of tomato, melon, watermelon, papaya, in the patio and they grew, they did not need absolutely anything, nothing at all.
Please do a video for so many people that has 9 months cold weather & lucky IF they get 3 months warm-hot weather please? Great video, wish it was warmer here... C ya l8er 😘 🌹🌈💞🎵🌷🌼🌺💖😆👏👍💫🌟✌ 💛 ☘️ ☘️1 & all please take care of you & for others that need you through these trying times.😘 ~"Love, Hope, Peace, Kindness, Dream, Inspiration, Laughter, Joy, Give, Live & Let Live"~
Ok. First, your video was under 6 minutes. That's a big plus. Some other youtube videos will go on for 14 minutes to cover the same thing you did in 5 + minutes. Also you got right to the point on your key things to focus on. I live in California also and am taking my 2nd attempt to grow a garden (First time rodents and squirrels destroyed everything a few years back). All your tips were practical and attainable. Thanks again!
LED Grow lights do NOT consume a lot of electricity. You could run a light for 8 hours per day and it would only add $1-2 to your monthly bill. The old grow lights were energy wasters.
Honestly I don't think germination is so much of a problem, reasonable quality seeds germinate in pretty much any reasonable environment. I think the problem starts after they germinate, and somehow no RU-vid channel covers that. Not even this one. Unfortunately.
Can I just plant my seeds in a good soil ,in a container, keep them outside since the temperature in California is 80-85 degrees??do I really need a bunch of fancy equipment?
Here where I live in deep in South South Texas its hot and humid...now I know why anything I throw to the ground grows. I'll appreciate more my climate now 😊
Good to water from the bottom an when they break soil have a little air flow. But you got the idea so many growers fail the first couple times counting me an sterilize. sterilize . sterilize. Thanks for the info
If you are not in a totally dry climate you should avoid top watering very young plants or seeds. Tends to get you more damping off disease. Bottom water only as much as possible, especially tomatoes!
How many days a chili seeds to germinate?? Been germinating it for weeks. I tried several seeds from store and from seeds of fresh new chilis.. But it doesn't germinate.. I live in tropical area.. So i wonder.. Hmm
Seed trays have drainage holes. If i use those spinach containers, do i need to punch holes at the bottom? How important are the holes when dealing with seeds, seedling, or cuttings? Hope anyone can help.
good but you only told us really how you do this with your indoor sheds and trolleys , you don't really tell us how the normal guy with just a small backyard can carry this out, good video though 👍👍
I am currently waiting for some bell pepper seeds to germinate indoors. Once they sprout, can I put them outside right away? I'm in Zone 9, it's around the mid 90s in the daytime usually, and 80s at night. How much sun should they get when they are small without killing them/overheating them?
This is glorious, been searching for "copywriting website template" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Fonucas Ziyyatt Tip - (do a google search ) ? Ive heard some incredible things about it and my cousin got great results with it.
I've began germinating some fresh seeds (blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, strawberries, and watermelon 🍉) on a wet paper towel in a ziplock bag and planned to transplant them in the dirt later when they did germinate-- I was wondering, what you think about this technique, and if you have any suggestions regarding these plants I've started?
PLEASE SIR I HAVE TRIED SOILS TO GERMINATE SEEDS THEY CAME OUT AND DYI PLEASE TELL ME WHAT KIND OF SOIL TO USE I LIVE IN DALLAS TX YOUR HELP MEANS A LOT TO ME KINDLY I ASK THANKS 🙇
