I'm a Bangladeshi and whenever a vlogger visits our country, the first question comes to my mind is "Will my people embarrass us" and so it definitely happens....Such a regressed country we live in SIGH
As I'm Bangladeshi, I would like to thank you for raising this. And, I would like to request all the foreigners who visit Bangladesh, please record all the bad incidents & publish it. So then all the culprits will correct themselves, also the administration must take action.
@@dhirdhar-xe1vm As I'm Bangladeshi, I never want to see this with foreigners. Have you been to UAE? Think about UAE's hospitality. We need to compare with good, not with the bad. I wish, one day Bangladesh will be very much tourist friendly.
@@dhirdhar-xe1vm If I don't make a mistake, I think i didn't ask your sorry. But we are sorry as Bangladeshis. We love our country. Do you think I give a high rate of living for the UK, USA or any other of your dream country? If you think it, then only you need to ask sorry from yourself.
The gentleman at 20:14 told her straight to leave you alone and that she is making you "uneasy". There's always these 1 percenters that give a hard time to everyone. Be it domestic people or foreigners. SMH. But you have experience in dealing with these culprits. Good on you. and thank you for continuing to show us more of Bangladesh!
Dear Davud, Happy to see you in BD. Being a Bangladeshi I'm feeling very bad for your unpleasant experiences in the new market area. Basically, this is not a safe zone for unaccompanied natives/locals even. So, foreigners should not move around alone in such crowd areas. Please try to contact with local youtubers or students who can support you best. Hope your stay in Bangladesh would be safe and happier. 🤲❤️🌹
This is the right suggestion I must say. Such nasty people are always there to embarrass us by cheating foreigners. Even locals may fall prey to such rogue people. So please contact an authorized travel guide or a student/vlogger to get a quality experience. But, most of the people here are kind and hospitable. Hope the bad experience won't put a dent in your heart about Bangladesh.
I like how you handle strange Bangladeshi people..i am from Bangladesh but seriously I can't handle strange people like you. And happy to have you in our country...love from Bangladesh❤️❤️

Thank you very much Davud for visiting Bangladesh. I used to see your travelling videos within my busy schedule too which I highly enjoy. Your video reminded me 25 Yrs living in that area where I studied in College, University and also lived for many Yrs. Right now I'm living in other parts of Dhaka. You are very friendly, kind and respectful to all. I know your country Azerbaijan very well which we studied in Geography, was within CIS countries under Russia, capital is Baku. Pls be careful while moving on roads and markets and avoid these unwanted disturbing people which I feel you are very much used to. May Allah bless on you n others. Take care...
A request to Bangladeshi brothers and sisters, whether you understand the language or not, please try to treat tourists as well as possible. It is a matter of self-esteem of our country. Good behavior is our heritage.
Davud you are experiencing cultural differences in south Asian countries with us , way that you faced incidents while visiting is great.pls come to Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 again 🙏
Hey Davud, this is so embarrassing that you had to go through this. As you may have already noticed that we are a friendly nation. But there are these cheaters everywhere in Dhaka, targeting foreigners. Please keep a local guide near you when you explore these places. You are welcome to visit Bangladesh again.

I'm sorry for those people. They know English a little and take advantage of it in the wrong way. Love Frome Bangladesh. really thanks and appreciate you for visiting our country.
Those people were enough annoying to ruin one's day out. Even being a Bangladeshi, I'm feeling embarrassed and sorry for you. I can clearly see the apprehension in your eyes though you handled the situation quite calmly and even bashed her. Anyway I'm a Sylheti and I welcome you to my beautiful Sylhet which is renowned for its hospitality.
As a fellow Bangladeshi, I am deeply sorry for your displeasure with few particular individuals. I hope you understand that the cornerstone of our nation is to be welcoming and treat visitors with respect. Thank you for visiting Bangladesh. Hope to see you soon again
That's true, had he been in Agra, Delhi or Bangalore, those pesky people just won't leave him alone and would get aggressive if their attempts fail. Bangladesh people are still kind and polite.
Hello, davud thanks for visiting Bangladesh. I’m so sorry for those people as a bangladeshi I’m ashamed of such kind of awkward situation. By the way, apart from dhaka whole country you feel free to visit. While visiting old dhaka you need a local guide..
I was in Dhaka many years back. I had the most delicious yoghurt served in a clay plate. In this channel I can hear the honking never stop… I miss this honking sound. 😊

I’m Bangladeshi and I believe Bangladeshi people’s are good personalities but some of bangladeshi people’s violation all of times when comes tourists i hate this types of Bangladeshi people’s. My dear brother thank you for visit my country and i appreciate it. God blessed ❤
Don’t worry guys, it’s ok the scammers are everywhere in this world, no need to say sorry sorry, bangladeshi people are so humble and great, love you from Pakistan 🇵🇰
this was very educative and helpful for us the locals, too. We don't get as harassed as the foreigners over there, but after watching this, maybe I'd look forward to avoiding these people as well.
But I don't understand why the other fellow Bangladeshis are not even bothering when someone is being harassed. They are just standing there and smiling. Previously also when a photographer took 100 times the cost of photos from Davud, a bag seller told him to just treat it as a gift that he gave the photographer.
@@monkeysingh6939 I believe the term "harassment" is needed to be taught to those people. A lot of people from foreign countries have previously "rewarded" these working people with far more than the actual price. If I remember correctly, Davud himself once gave a rickshaw puller 500BDT in Dhaka, when the actual fare was 80BDT, because he thought the puller deserved it, which is almost 6 times the actual fare. Most of the working people shown in these videos aren't literate enough to understand or speak in English, so from my personal opinion, maybe they think the traveler is willingly spending the sum, and because of the language barrier, the situation is never fully explained to them.
@@abproductions7191 Random passersby aside, neither the optical store fellow nor the garments shop owner told him that there is no such dedicated "helpers" appointed by the government or tell Davud to avoid those people.
Hi Davud, you are a genourous big hearted man. As a Bangladeshi living overseas I feel embarrassed how they try and cheat you everywhere. Please next time you go let me be your host, I will cover all your expenditure and spending money. I am truely sorry for the peoples behaviour you are experiencing. It is shameful. On the day of judgement they will have to repay you. Stay safe, you are a real gentleman.

as a bangladeshi im ashamed of such kind of act govt is directly responsible for this and they should take immediate step to stop those touts in such places sorry again from the people of bd Davud
Our weather is not perfect for orange cultivation🍊. We import orange from others country thats why orange juice is so expensive. But our clothes garments sector is most valuable in all over countries. We export clothes in all country thats why your cap price is cheap🧢. Hope you understand. Love from Bangladesh 💖🇧🇩
Hopefully one they will come up. It is sad that it is so overcrowded. They do need to stop that noise over the loudspeakers. It is not their fault that they are poor. I have heard that Bangladesh has a lot of millionaires but sadly they do not share their wealth. Their governments are corrupt, because the government should be taxing the very rich to pay to improve the country!! I met a rich Bangladeshi who came to the US Las Vegas just to gamble and have fun. He was paying for everyone's meal in the restaurant. I didn't know that they had so many poor people in Bangladesh by the way this man was acting.
@easterneye yeah south asia has very bad reputation when it comes to living environment but most people always shame or are ashamed of the people for being uneducated or unhygienic, when we all know people behind government are responsible for cause of failure of country and the people, but yeah people blame religion, even though countries like Malaysia are doing decent and way better than bangladesh even though it is majority Muslim
Please don’t go to these places brother. There are so many good places out there for you to visit. We Bangladeshis also harassed or scammed by these touts in these places often.
The guy who refused the toy probably follows strict rules wherein Toys or photographs of living beings, even family members are not displayed in homes. Anything with prominent eyes is not allowed. Many Muslims don't follow this or don't know about it.
Also please visit Saudi and Indonesia which are most deep rooted and most populated muslim country respectively, they don't act like how muslims in Pakistan and Bangladesh do even Afghans don't they are very nice people
Salah satu Penyebab Negara tidak bisa berkembang....terlalu sempit cara berfikirnya, yang lebih penting adalah Iman,Kebersihan, Adab,Ahlaq yang baik dalam prilaku sehari2...
Great video @Davud - I am really enjoying Bangladesh series which is very different from Nepal. I appreciate your efforts and braveness to explore completely unterritorial land. Although I can understand she maybe poor and trying to help someone to make some money, but this behavior of chasing tourists is unacceptable. She can be nice and honest in asking if I may help you in your touring experience and probably Davud might have tagged along and helped her. I hope someone around that area can educate her if she is approaching with right intentions. I can assure from Tourist perspective it's little scary as you don't want to get involved in any issues. Thank you and Take care Brother!
She didn’t want any money brother, just her approach was overwhelming because she thought the communication with others could be broken! Price could be higher than the locals...

They didn't take the toy because, if a living thing or image of humans are in a house Angel's don't come to that house, any living things image, picture, toy
@@easterneye2773 you are too naive if you really believe that she genuinely wanted to help. she and the other guy are fraudsters, no doubt in it. At one time she said she works for the government too. she didn’t have an answer when Davud asked for her ID. I wouldn’t be surprised if she is a fucking thief too.
Thank you so much for making such a very beautiful vlog about our country as Bangladesh. I really appreciate your video Bhai. From Bangladesh Police ❤❤❤
This is kinda old part of Dhaka, you should visit the modern parts of Dhaka such as Gulshan-1 & 2, Banani, Cantonment, Dhanmondi, Khilgaon ( There is a long street full of restaurants and you will love it at night). Love from U.S.A🌎
Modern part of all cities in the world is the same , no difference. It is the older parts of a city which is different for different cities and actually reflect the culture of that countries.
I suspect your bargaining skills deteorate as time passes by 😁 btw. this boutique labeled 'Bata' visible at the beginning of the video is a mark, which originated in the Czech Republic by the first quarter of previous century. Greetings from Prague!
Brother Davud, thank u for your patience while traveling Bangladesh. I agree some places r more dirtier, our people needs to be more thoughtful about it, it’s high time. Another main thing is that our country is highly populated & the government needs to be strict with this garbage problem. Another big issue travailing for u is the language barrier, and we do have some people who always want to take advantage of foreigners! I m sure others countries have this issue too, just keep in mind most of the people r still poor in Bangladesh, they just trying to survive! I have seen lots of negative comments from our own People but they also forgetting the fact that ‘when u r poor & have lots of mouth to feed, honesty goes out the window’ That’s why we also have major problems with corruption! I am really sorry you having hard time with the noise, traffic . I do too when I go back home. But there is just no way around it. Something big needs to be changed to fix this problem, hope government taking some actions. I also wanna point out that I left Bangladesh 25 years ago, trust me when I say this the country changed tremendously, but still struggling with some major problems! I actually can go on & on but gonna stop now. I wish I was there so I could have invited u to my house for some authentic desi food. U definitely r missing out on that, u r ending up going to wrong places for food . But after watching your videos I figured u r very independent & loved to do everything by yourself . I respect that, but please do try to go some modern areas too. I think watching your videos lots of people getting only the negative sides of our country 😢there r much more positivity that you need to show . I do hope this will not be your last visit in my country, and next time u come u will have much better experience! Thank u so much for your time, affection & generosity towards our people. We all appreciate that a lot. May Allah bless u, give u a long healthy happy life. Ameen.
Orange juice was expensive but they showed you the menu so seems like they didn't scam but expensive. Sunglasses were very expensive, definitely ripped you on that.
Brother, I'm really shocked to see the women's hyperactivity, definitely she was a trained broker, but don't think all the people like that, hopefully you will comeback to Bangladesh again, thank you for coming to our country.
Juice from local fruits are a little bit cheaper than foreign fruits like orange/apple/graps, etc. Dhaka new market is one of the oldest governments owned markets in Bangladesh, which u explored earlier.

Dear David, welcome to BD, word of caution, please do not churn up chit chat with random people on the streets here in Dhaka without any guide or local friend. I can see you only meant to be friendly but the more you talked with those two people, the more they got the feeling you can be milked for dollars easily. Dhaka is full of touts and please do not be friendly with everybody and expect good experience in return.
Are you just messing your hand inside your own thoughts?! The guy was trying to talk because he knew a bit of English and he had his items and he wondered if he could sell to him in case! The lady was more willingly trying to hook him with others because she could understand that price might be higher and communication would be broken, she even said that she's doing it for free, no problem! They are not touts for sure! Someone just can't provoke a country with bad words with due respect! Sorry to know brother!
Thank you for the tips man! I was just at new market and having seen your video I was prepared...and on queue the woman popped up next to me when I was trying to buy a wallet! I told her politely that I didnt want her following me around and she reluctantly left. The power of youtube!
What ??? He rejected a toy for baby ? Because he is muslim…omg ,,,,baby was so excited to see that toy and baby was so happy ….holy Allah must sad to see how baby’s father took baby’s smile away man…what kind of muslims r they
He did not rejected a Toy, he rejected the toy because it is animal shaped. Any type of animal shaped toy or human/animal sculpture sould notb in the house, if so then the " rahmat ka fareshta" do not come. Most of the muslims are unable to maintain this now a days But who does, in sha allah they will be blessed by allah. And baby would have been smiled if he saw anything colorful🎉
Be careful brother. i am bangladeshi there have many cheater people in dhaka. We also fall in trap also. You are foreigner so you need to be careful. Not all people are same . But you need to identify that type off people and stay safe all the very best for coming Our Country ❤❤🎉
Wow! Bangladesh is more crowded than Manila, enjoy your video Davud,I watched your vlogs in Boracay and enjoyed it too,I am homesick in my motherland, though just been there more than a year ago.
Bro don't let some stranger follow you and if they do just tell them to leave. Dhaka is a crowded place so be careful from these People and try to learn some bangla phrases it will be helpful for you.
He rejected the toy because in islam its prohibited to have animals or any alive being as toys, as paintings, as pictures, They dont reject other toys such as cars, plants just anything without a face Its just our religion and they are being faithful there is nothing wrong with that pls dont think he is being rude. Much love ❤😊
Dont worry guys, the whole world is full of scammers. David is from Azerbaijan, for sure he knows how to handle the scammers. When i visited Baku i met so many scammers like these on every street of Baku. Good job David. You are handling the scammers very nicely.
I am sorry, with all due respect, please, don't make the facts out of your a... I mean, there might be some scammers in Baku, but "in every street there some like this" is just bullshit. There are a bunch of videos on youtube about Baku, no one ever followed a blogger.
@@Wizard_of_North are you serious? Lol Where exactly there are no scammers in Baku? Nizami street and fountain sqaure are full of scammers. No. 1 scammers are the taxi drivers. If they see a tourist they will chase him like a dog. Worst bars and night clubs in the world are in Baku where every day and night many tourists get scammed in the name of night life. The OTTO night club is famous for scamming tourists. Thats why i never planned to travel Baku again. It has a bad reputation among tourists. Its funny you dont know your city well.
@@Wizard_of_North In Baku tourists have to stay alert every second. If you are a local there then you will not realize what we tourists face in Baku. Even the hotel i was staying the receptionists and staff were trying to scam me. Moreover people in Baku are rude. I had a bad impression of Baku the first day i arrived. From the Heyder Aliyev airport to my hotel in Nizami i already understood this place has many scammers. I travelled many countries and let me tell you Baku is full of scammers and peole lie so easily there. I would rather travel Thailand, Philiplines, Pakistan instead of Baku. Even the restaurants in Baku dont want to return the change properly. Even the Taxi drivers will not return the change. I had to insist that i want my change back.
The crowd is so impressive! I've calculated the respective density of population of India and Bengladesh, the one from Bengladesh is 2.5 times the population density of India! I enjoyed your videos, you seem to be a nice guy, you have a good contact with people; keep on the good work Davud!
Many travelers want to experience raw, unique, old, historical, local, natural sides while traveling instead of modern cities which are now present in all developed or developing countries
@@aa6eheia156 exactly. The new development part we see all over the West, it is not very interesting. Some travelers want to experience the people. How they live and survive.
People there seem serious and not friendly✌️ You looked stressed and unhappy in Bangladesh Davud 😢 I prefer watching your videos when you are always in the Philippines because you are better when you are in the Philippines.❤ Take care always
Hello Brother Davud! I know you are very generous & kind to people but these two will not scam with you! They are just try to help & get kinda benefited from you! They will not force you to pay like others touristic places over asia. And Its not the place for tourist but for the explorer like you! But they should listen to you & leave you alone to explore! I hope you are enjoying Brother! Take love from us!
Long story short they are touts that are known in all the local shops and as soon as you even walk in with them you are a mark and prices go up for them to collect commission from the sale later. They are working with the shops to get tourists in who will pay higher prices, hence why she was following you into places anyways. Ideally you need to say to the tout I'm only going to pay you if your on my side to get lowest prices possible but these people generally don't want to accept payment when all is said and done and are doing it out of friendship/love.
I'm from Bangladesh. brother they are annoying him. it's disrespectful. some businessman don't understand "if i need it then i'll buy it". why are they forcing him?

I believe Bangladesh has some very nice areas with a lot of culture. He just arrived in Bangladesh and he wanted to do some shopping. The people seem very nice. It is not their fault for being poor. Rich people and rich countries especially from the middle east should help them instead of buying gold toilets.
