As a veteran from Epic Seven and Genshin, this game is a great mix of then, Great Video. About Natasha, totally agreed, people who are not that much into turn based combat maybe are just spending on damage, but the most important thing is to "Survive". Getting buffs, removing debuffs, Apply debuffs and so on, will impact more on high end enemies than just raw damage, so don't look too low on a character because they cannot attack, thats my advice for new players on that type of game (hope you guys get that Gepard or Bailu if you want then, they are really good for what i said)
i got two accounts; 1 with Yanqing (beginner banner 20 pulls) and another with Welt (beginner banner 50 pulls). Another difference is: the welt account also has senpo (e1), natasha and pela (since i did more summons) . Welt account has Luocha lightcone and yanqing one has dan heng lightcone. So which account should I keep?
@@revjackal8782 Natasha is Free after a history quest so the account with Pela and Welt is better imo. I have Yanqing but besides that, only F2P characters because my luck was just eidolons for they. Yanqing is a great single target and freeze debuffer, but for single target you already have Dan Heng and for freeze, Herta and 7, so if you want to tryhard, thats it. Of course, just keep what you like more, everyone is pretty decent in this game afterall.

on the early exp books/LC exp vs traces/LC ascension mats priority, as someone who hit TL30, i say that spending your pre-30 stamina on ascension mats is better because: > you'll need ALOT more ascension mats once you hit 30. again, they're for both traces and LCs >you get exp books/LC exp from everywhere (quests, pom-pom, chests, assignments, etc)
Once you're in EQ1 (TL20), you do not want to farm levelup mats anymore. You only want to farm skill mats for whatever characters you intend to use. The material requirement in EQ2 is much higher to max everyone out since several more traces unlock and each individual trace costs more to level up. Once you have all your traces capped in EQ1, look at all of the traces that require blue mats now. Count up every single one of them, and then multiple by 3, because it's 3 green mats to synth 1 blue. Do this for every character. This is how many green mats you'll need to cap everyone out in EQ2 (TL30). The blue drops are rare even in difficulty 3, so it's simply not worth waiting, especially since you get more than enough levelup materials from everywhere to cap all your characters, light cones, and even a relic set for each. There's almost no reason to farm levelup materials unless you're spreading yourself thin and trying to maintain more than 4 characters. (But you're still going to have a skill mat problem that's even worse later, so it ends up being the same.) Also, when you're getting close to EQ2, stop spending stamina; you are going to require a new set of 'ascension' materials to ascend every character in EQ2, so have your stamina as full as possible for the transition to get it out of the way immediately. This is the most important thing, so even if trace materials are not set up, stop spending stamina if you're close. And starting in EQ2, you want to setup all your trace mats for EQ3, but also all of your ascension mats. I'm in EQ3 right now and because I did *not* do any this, it took me several days to max all of my traces in EQ2. And because of that, I got very little head start on EQ3, and now I'm looking at several more days of farming to cap everyone again. I imagine EQ4 will be even worse, but we'll see. Special mention on Echo of War: save those till the end of the week, so you can clear them at your highest possible EQ. They only provide special mats for one or two traces, but give significantly better overall rewards in each EQ, so it's acceptable to target the highest EQ you can for these.
small update : Spend some Trailblaze on Calyx (Crimson) and do your Assignment for at least one character material (don't forget the EXP too with your extra Assignment) Save your Fuel to do higher stages, or use one to get to the next Trailblaze Level milestone (20, 30, 40 and so on) or Story (24, 29 and so on) if you're really close. original comment : I saw Envi at 40/40 and under TB 30 and already saw a big red sign. You're gonna want to level your Light Cones and Traces, which requires the materials mentioned at the start of the video. Just one character alone will easily eat up the free resources if you have not bothered using your "Resins". However, avoid prefarming as Envi said. Spend your "Resins" after you're capable of the higher stages (which should be stage 3 materials at TB 30).
........ Then what are u gonna spend ur resin on if not the early stages. Or r u gonna just let ur resin sit at cap, or leave your characters underlevel. Level up ur character to a decent point so u can clear the story/quest faster, use ur resin to get to TB30 faster, progress faster so u can actually unlock the higher stages.

Another (but pretty niche) tip, if you end up getting lucky on the "First 50 Warps" banner and pull a 5 star character early, don't spend more warps on it after your first 5 star. It only guarantees you ONE 5 STAR. This is important because there's a pity rate on the permanent banner you can start building instead. (EX: I pulled a 5 star in 20/50 beginner warps. The beginner banner pity does not transfer to the permanent one, and instead of building permanent pity I wasted 30 warps on essentially nothing)
does the pity system work the same (like genshin) for the main event character banner? like do ur wishes transfer over to the next new character banner?
thats literally the best tip u can get for wishes early, did my 10 pulls got 5* then did 40 more and got nothing even tho the phrasing suggests that u get guarantee 'after' pulls
I'm going hard into making a team centered around Kafka, so I'm saving up all my Starlight for her best weapon, In The Name of the World, and wishing on Jing Yuan's banner because he apparently goes really well with her. Having a focused goal helps you restrain yourself on what you should and shouldn't be spending or using up.
Took four days for me to beat the story line (could beaten earlier but had college n work) got to rank 35 and have that dragon kid, Wind twin tail girl and two 5 star light cones. As a ftp player it’s totally doable, if ur gonna reroll I suggest just keep going for the beginner summon till u get a good 5 star unit early n then save up for the banner summons
5:55 No need, I already got trolled by Gepard again on standard. On the beginner banner, I got him on the last pull. So I always made fun of his singing idle animation. Today I got retribution from him on standard in the form of his light cone…
4:40 the Destruction one is honestly the best one from the shop there just by pure stats, cause you are getting SOOOOO much atk, and also dmg bonus, that its crazy. But the Hunt one is a close 2nd in stats, but imo i feel like the current line up of Hunt characters can just benefit from this one more, especially early game with all that crit rate. Just my 2 cents on this though
YES! Finally someone gets it. The Hunt Light Cone ONLY gives 8% crit rate, followed by another 8% IF the enemy is 50% hp or lower. Compare this to other Hunt light cones and you'll see exactly why it's garage. Destruction is the one u focus on.
a lil bit late but, if you managed to get to world level 5 (which is easily achieved on a level 30 account) you can start farming the 5 star Planar sphere which gives insane stats for early game, from my personal experience they seem to be guarantying at least 1 5star for each spend, and the pieces that you don't need can serve as a fodder for your future artifacts! I think these are the best place to spend resin other than spamming the Char / weapon EXP mats.
Just started and got Asta, Pela, Natasha, and then Bailu. Not sure if I messed up the spelling or not but I'm loving the game so far. Also the video helps a ton for me so thanks for the hard work put into helping people learn like me
4:59 If you can beat World 4 before the reset, you will have enough to buy one as well. That's my goal, but need to ascend to world lvl 2 to uncapped to lvl 50
@@varuns2686 not for the 3500 rewards. Most players will probably have 7 of the Herta currency and to get the 8th one before the reset, you need to complete 4. You can get the 8th on the reset, but it is possible to get it before.
As a new player without knowledge of as in everything about hoyoverse, this is a great vid to get a gist on how to play efficiently in the game. Thanks for the vid!
What I will tell new players is to finish Jarilo VI stories asap so you can unlock the places you can spend the resin(?) If you drag it too long, you will be wasting the resin(?)
Says "avoid these mistakes", but advises people to do the worst mistake they can do in the shop lmao, buying cones. Not only you get 30 wishes up-front, which have a chance to drop any of those cones already (sure, you won't likely get it in 30 pulls), but every 10pull is guaranteed to have a 4star, so at worst, you'll get MORE of that dust that you can then pour back into wishes. Best part is, you're building pity + getting closer to your 300 pulls where you can select a 5star of your choice, which allows you to push higher in the MoC, WHICH RESETS! So you want to push those 1-2-10 extra levels with the cheese strats like having Gepard which CN is putting in Tier0 lmao and NA sleeps on, and get even more value. DO NOT BUY THE WEAPONS! This guy is a clown, as most "content creators" are, just regurgitating mistakes heard/read in other places, with no original content / thought of their own.
i'm saving for the hunt weapon since I got Selee, very happy I won the 50/50.. she is so worth it... she may be considered a "single" target DPS.. but i've cleared entire rounds with just her because of her kit.. that said, all my f2p gems are gone, so i need a good weapon for her since I won't be able to get her signature weapon

@@irisblink on the limited banners, there's something called the pity system, it means the more you pull, the game will increase by a small percentage to your chance at getting a 5 star character until you get a 5 star character and there's 3 types of pity 1. early pity - a 5 star within 10-40 pulls 2. soft pity - a 5 star within 70-75 pulls 3. hard pity - the full 90 pulls now after you pull a 5 star, here is where the the 50/50 comes in, that means there's a 50% chance you'll either get Selee OR one of the other 5 stars in the standard banner if you lose that 50/50, the next 5 star you pull will be guaranteed to be Selee these games are not free-to-play friendly, especially for new players, which basically all of us at this point. so with your 20 pulls, is it possible to get Selee? Yes, will it take tremendous luck? also yes, cuz you have to hit early pity AND win the 50/50
You might want to try Cruising In The Stellar Sea as it basically a substitute for In The Night. And with enough grind you can get it to high rank, altho it may not outperform In The Night

If you played Genshin you know what to do :D Don't waste your time farming artifacts early you are going to replace anyway. Something I learned is that for the reseting abyss/memory fight you are unlikely to achieve too much before hitting balance 4, so don't focus too much on artifacts early, you aren't missing out all that much. On the other hand improving traces will be lasting and is something you have to do anyway at some point. Even if you maxed out all your talents I would actually advice to farm some of them ahead of your next Balance increase, so once you can level your chars to 70 and start to finally really attack the resetting part of the abyss and the harder simulations you can go straight into farming up artifacts. Ideally you can save some of your free refills as well. You can use them early of course if you want to progress faster and don't want to wait, but it's a bit inefficient.
ONly disagree with the begining and not doing crimson for trace upgrade. the more you level up the harder it gets to level up so farming the easier green ingredients and synthesizing will help you max out/build characters especially FTP players. Id also buy all ingredients from first two worlds at the stores since they are less expensive and will give you the rewards for spending money in the stores.
Coming from Genshin, this game can be overwhelming with new materials not knowing what to buy, what not to, not knowing what character should be prioritized, so I am looking for guides like these from my fave youtubers😊 especially f2p because omg I can't spend anymore, I whaled for Baizhu and don't need to be throwing more money😅
DO NOT spend your undying starlight on those 5 star light cones in shop yet, those 4 stars are on a rotation, if you are missing stuff like ting yun or su shang, you can wait for them to come out there (if you want to save through Jing Yuan banner).
to be fair, look at the quality of the game, it cost them a lot to make too. Not the 100mil or w/e from genshin (which they obviously made back more than tenfold)
Rerolled and finally got bronya on standard banner for 20pity. Got bailu and bronya right after each other on Garaunteed beginner banner. Got 5star cone in standard banner at 0pity which means another consecutive 5star. Got all the way to 74 for seele and lost 50/50 for bronya. Currently have e2 bronya,himeko weapon, and bailu 3days into game
For Sim Uni I would only buy the wishes if you have better options for Lightcones. The ones they provide can be outperformed by most 4 star or even 3 star Lightcones. I would also only buy it if my Main DPS is a Hunt character since the Destruction and Preservation Lightcones are Niche. The ATK they provide is considerably worse than DMG % and I already have Clara's Lightcone, just not her. My main DPS is Hook, so in a case where you have good Lightcones, just don't bother buying the Lightcones.
Huh I really enjoy your guide, but after playing the game for a few weeks, I can say that I've not invested in a healer (despite getting Bailu's 5* light cone) since I don't think they're necessary for me. Clara, March 7th, Bronya, and Jing Yuan is what I'm running at the moment - since I love Gepard but March 7th just works a lot better with Clara imo. I did use physical Trailblazer when I started (him, Clara, March 7th, Dan Heng), and then switched to fire Trailblazer for a bit, but just to me his damage is underwhelming and I'd much prefer enemies to focus on Clara instead, not Trailblazer, so his taunt is not for me. I took him off for Jing Yuan. Dan Heng was one of my favorites and I'll keep him on my second team.
been playing 4 days no cash spent have all chars exceot seele, geopard, himato. spend all my warp resources or any currency buying rail cards have pulled natasha 6 times so her epilons is level 5 have 5 or 6 level 40's and a few level 30+ all have light cones level 20, traces are lvl 2/3 but my trailblaze lvl is 25 all from just questing and faarming calyx. dont have a clue what i am doing couldn't even beat world 2 over leveled kept taking wrong setups then took march 7th trailblazer, natasha, asta and preservation buffs, mobs barely if even at all managed to break shields and get thru dmg. but really in shoet there is no wrong way if you're having fun, grinding is all part of that fun and TBH been easy getting mats. seele is limited time which is why i feel i need to try to get her but only FTP way is exchanging all your resources for them. each to there own i guess. have fun thats the main object. thanks for the info although a little late for me lol.
If you don’t have a lot of missions . Probably you will have to spend several days fooling around to see if something available. I’m level 25 ( almost 26 ) and I have at least 10 side missions available . probably you had some laying around . Try to find chests that you missed .
Just gacha I think. As of now I didn't see any other way to get her. She will be available on Jing Yuan's banner too so if u want her do some pulls there.

You'll want Natasha's Trace for Cleanse anyways, since even Bailu doesn't have Cleansing in her kit. And let me tell you, get ready to get your ass CC'd by the enemy later on if you lack Resistance. Bailu can save you from dying, but she won't be saving you from moving out of a CC.
@@justjuniorjaw And things can get messy real fast when you fight against that certain enemy that does party-wide taunt with a very high success rate. The add bombs will slowly kill your party.
For me the shops are confusing... There are too many shops... Shop on herta, shop on boulder town, shop in balebog... There are daily sells in shop that change too... Dunno if tjose are worth but the buff they guve befote fighting can help...

I think if you got Seele and a Bailu you do not need main character and Natasha anymore. Try playing Bailu, Seele, Asta, March 7th team. It is realy good
So I pulled Gepard and he seems to be pretty good, but I don't any overlap between Fire Trailblazer and Gepard since they're both tanks. Should I use Fire Trailblazer or Gepard?
I'm so scared of wrong investment, that i don't know who to level up to 40, but thx for the healler hands up. I'm rank 23 and you 27.. Sounds a fair time to get another level up sources.. Plus, I guess that i gonna invest ATK and shield break and energy on Nasha.. If i pair her with the Shield girl, Nasha can both cover normal weakness and healling and keep the heal section... I mean i prefer maximize my defenses then ATK in a underleveled situation. ps: I really get annoyed by videos like that, bcz i trust my judgment and when i watch the video its like the streammer is hammering the obvious on me.. But from time to time i found out one or two things that i can learn xD Its my way to say that you're a good strategist. SUB
I have a newbie question, please someone answer. About the relics, is it worth it to level up the 3star relics if they have been superimposed? Or is it not worth it to invest in 3stars, and should I just keep all them at lvl 1 and wait for a 4 or 5star relic? I've come to realise that leveling up relics is vital to improve the characters's stats significantly but I just can't decide if I should invest in 3star relics. Someone please tell me which would be the correct thing to do?
Deffo don't invest in 3 star relics. When you play the game and open chest, you'll get 4 star relics naturally. Also, focus on survivability and not lots of damage. That's worked for me a lot
saving your stardust for the lightcones is not worth it with the cones being the equivalent of 30 wishes. especially early into the game with characters being neccesary

I don't really care about prioritizing the stamina. Eventually I'll end up at a point where I won't care too much anyway. The relics will be good enough and the character mats are also obtained quickly enough.
you can LV up Natasha letter, because i heard the Herta callenge thingy will need two team at higher lv, just like abyss. so you'll need double healer. healer is a must in this game.
12:01 “very early on” LMAO you need to practically complete the entire first world barring Herta station, which is a mini world in itself. You need to be AT LEAST Trailblazer level 24. That’s not very early imo. Sure, the story is nowhere near done since the game is so new. But it took a very long time to reach that point.

Correction: you do NOT need Natasha at all. I've been using the first 4 characters you get (phys mc, March, Dan and Asta) the entire game an I'm trailblaze 50.
actually am having a hard tijme because i didnt farm the crimson calix as trailblaze level 30 i did farm the golden calix but damn pom pom shower me with exp material later on
11:20-11:25 there is no "technically" about it, you switched the trailblazer from Destruction to Preservation so you no longer have the Destruction requirement met. 🤦😂🤷
@@benjaminroe311ify I started with Clara as well, and she immediately replaced him, she's so good. Just fyi, you will need to level your mc for main quest of world 1 though.
