Your advice given in all these coaching videos has been a Godsend, it's helped a lot in my matches to actually improve and start winning more matches/performing better😊
in the first clip, i think its okay to move, coz that area is so easy to get headshot. but the real problem is his aim is so shaky when he moves. well just my opinion
I understand the coach makes a good point. If you move you have to try to hit a perfect counter strafe move your crosshair to the persons head to adjust for their movement and yours and track while trying to get the shot. If you stay still you take out the need to counter strafe perfect allowing you to track the targets head and shoot. You still have to track but you don’t have to worry about your movement offsetting the tracking while trying to follow the enemy.
I like that you gave a good pause for consideration around 12:20 for that palace trade. Definitely a hard play in the moment and even in hindsight considering it’s a pug
15:30, peeking right towards ramp while swinging open left to con, stairs, ct is crazy. Wide left and redirect attention to CT or go back behind triple so stairs and con can't peek you and jiggle CT. If player was ramp you would have seen him when crossing to triple after you loud dropped site and faked once before sticking the plant.
Yea, true - there was possibility of someone being ramp though. What if the ramp player was making mistake of pushing T spawn and just went back with a bit late timing? I would have done what you wrote too tbh though Josh could have just turned to ramp being covered by triple easily
you can move when you shot, but that require precision. Say you peeking with A, then you let go of A and tap D THEN you shot because then you will be accurate. I also with USP-S sometimes crosswalk with A+W or W+D aiming headshot height, turning my crosshair angle oposite of the walking of the keys walking direction so that i only need to click when i walk into enemies in the moment i spot them and it's also important that you know what angle you walk into when doing this so you have the better angle, you can't do this everywhere, because that will get you killed. Crouching gives you better accuracy for the cost of being an easier headshot target.
If you let go of A and tap D you're no longer moving - so you don't move and shoot You just described a counte strafe - which is stopping ;P Crouching basically is a replacement for counter strafing but makes you ez to refrag so dont recommend
Yeah it's an easy muscle memory, but not everyone out there is a good cs player and may need to read this to understand it, because alot of cs players are bad, and even the good ones sometimes do mistakes, especially while warming up, like dont pull and follow spray patterns and sometimes just easily forget to press S to stop the running, depends on how often you play, if you play every day for 8-12 hours then its in your blood, if you do like me, play since cs was alpha before steam was anything, but dont dedicate every day to it, then youll be good but not a god. I spend more time mastering instruments rather than mastering a video game like:)@@psychoticskittle7805
I have to say a watched a few of your videos today at work. Warmed up my aim a little and ended up hitting banger shots just paying attention to my crosshair and using a d to take fights :)
I think it's better to move in the first clip. The USP-S still can headshot when moving at closer range and it's harder for T's to insta kill you with the peeker's advantage.
"I dunno, man. I wanna feel like I did something" I can actually relate to that. I usually bottom score with my friends in term of kills/damage, but I do tons of flashes, above 40 in my last 5 games. There are different ways to do something, and took me a bit to discover it. Maybe this guy needs that, I dunno, I still suck at the game.
Ye, but certain moments require you to not to be stationary otherwise you will be dead almost the moment they fire at you. Moving can mess up hit box for your opponent and can give you certain advantage when you want to get the hell out of certain situation. That doesn't mean you should move like you are just off the rave party, you gotta know how to use it in your advantage. If you play against lower tier players, they mostly rely on aim so this doesn't really hold in every scenarion. Here is something to think about, anyway, i still appreciate your advice.
Totally agree, we are talking about his specific movements there, Josh had issue with not counter strafing properly and not making sure to stop before he fired, hence the focus of this sess
You put a lot of emphasis on not moving during gunfights. I have that habit too if moving during gunfights to try to "outmanuever" my opponent's onetaps. Should I just be focusing on anchoring down and hitting my shots instead?
“there was supposed to be 2 B 1 Mid and 2 A” like bro, there was…😭😭 last round Tside play defaults or play a strat that was previously working consistently in the game also it would help if the guy would be more open to understanding when he was in the wrong in the scenario, like with the round he aced, yes he aced and won, but he put his teammates in a bad position by not supporting them therefore decreasing their overall chance of winning the round. A lot of players need to work on their team play and how to effectively work with the skill your teammates have instead of just saying “my teammates are dog shit” remember COMMS IS ONE OF THE MOST ESSENTIAL PARTS OF THE GAME
I have this problem. Moving too much and being impatient leads to me becoming visible to other angles. Is there anything you recommend practicing in games to help this
listen i tried to start standing still like he says idk what it is if im not doing it in the right moments or what but its a recipe for bottom frag and definitely getting headshot, i climb much faster doing it the jiggle way lol
@@mostjuanerable584 it's not about standing stationary in fights, its about moving while firing - of course you need to strafe, shoot, strafe, shoot (bursts with ak-47 for example)
New to CS2 and have been trying to go back and watch my replays to get better. I can't find out how you're seeing impacts. Is there a command for that?
i dont agree completely with the peeking in jungle. He's doing this considering high lvl players who dont walk out that far or even at all. This way you will get caught offguard and die. Better to do it incrementally
I don’t understand why moving during the shooting is bad, cause i saw b1t and Monesy pov demo and they quite always do left and right click while fighting🤔
you mean on pistol? the guy is shooting randomly and not hitting anything, b1t times his shots when his crosshair is on target, and in most places you dont play it that way.
This is what a lot of people in video games, and even sports, don't understand. YOU are not b1t. You are not M0nesy. They CAN do it, you can't. Unless you have good crosshair placement, aim, counter-strafe, and the ability to use your movement as your aim itself, YOU should not do it.
Well, here i would actually stay open minded - if Vexifyr watches those pros do things it's actually good to replicate and not that hard to learn. The point is it will take some time before it looks exactly the same but sole attempt to do similar play is not a bad thing tbh
This is kinda dumb saying hes unhitble in the first clip. moving like that is not always about not getting hit but moving into their head with ur crosshair so you dont have to move ur mouse which is better
At 2:30 rotating to your teammates that have the bomb is actually a good tactic, even in 4v5 and here is why: Having 5 camping CT's protecting the bomb has more odds of winning that round instead of being pushed by 2-3 from aps and losing the gunfight. At least with a teammate he has a way to trade. If he is alone it will be 4v4 then slowly maybe it could end in a round loss. I don't see why rotating is bad where the bomb is. THere is literallyy no advantage if you just continously hold. What if they are on ECO as well theyy could literally get his gun if he is alone he is vulnerable. Its not like the T's are not expecting him to be in the most 5 common angles on B site. i dont see how would that benefit for the team and the round.
They did not have control of the bomb. Absolutely not. He left B completely unprotected, apps guy can flank the short and open short up for rotates or even the fact they can secure site and the team can go mid to underpass. Just because you guys can see the bomb or that you're near it doesn't mean you have control over it.
On point here, he could have stayed on B and slowly move over towards short in case they actually take full control of the bomb to make sure no one flanks from B apps
started playing finals where its all movement then went back to cs2 were your just supposed to hold positions and outta habbit from playing finals i started moving more, can say you really do fuck yourself in cs2 with moving to much lol
Telling him to stand still on pistol against glocks with peakers advantage is crazy. The more I watch, the more bad advice is see given. Second round, he should jump spotted B apps for info then held position on short holding apps listening for underpass sound info and also ready to swing mid for help. Passive aggressively say "bro why are you looking at short, like why?" isnt going to be effective coaching. I fucking hope he didnt pay you for this.
@@pienixcsafaik, it was harder, but not impossible. it was something to do with the weird subtick system. it's consistent now. firebox/triple (depending where you're located) selfboost can't be said the same though.
"Why are you rotating?" Because the bomb is down "Doesnt matter" uhh.... what? and your reasoning is "look at your team"? just leave them alone? you'll have to explain a bit better, it just sounds nonsensical.
@@pienixcs not hard to see man, the sub tick is ass, needs to just be 128 servers, and when you get to 15k cr you run into cheaters all day. Reason I down ranked myself back to 10k cr a lot less cheaters.
this kid has adhd and needs to make the right plays. he says "i know this and i know that" but plays like the average egotistical cs player in game and will be stuck until he controls his patience and actually listens to your advice.
I think this guy needs to work on his raw mechanics. Not how to play and what he should do in certain situations. This guys raw mechanics is not even remotely good. He should deathmatch, aimbotz, maybe even kovaaks a bit. He can’t do anything if he’s not even comfortable moving and playing the game itself.
honestly it’s hard to watch his pov, passive playstyle is fine but he needs to play smart and understand what he is doing , play more and fix some mistakes , at least has the ability to clutch if he is playing passive, otherwise just a 0 impact player
I ain’t hating I enjoy skins and own couple of them fairly expensive… but it’s just doesn’t make sense to me…But people can do what ever they want lmao
