Love your style. I wear a zip hoodie jacket opened or sweater for dress up. Haha I do wrap the hoodie/sweaters around my shoulder. Buckle, baseball, or straw hats are a must. 👍🏻I am 68 and embrace comfort sassy causal. But the idea is the same, the style is reflected in the clothing choices.

I spent 2022 and 2023 in sneakers. I had double knee replacement surgeries with all the follow up therapy. I had to get very creative. I wish I had all this info at the time😂😂😂 I do think I came to many of the same conclusions as you have here.
Like some of the outfits but a midriff top under a blazer is definitely Not a “chic business look”. There is nothing business-like’ about having your stomach showing in a professional setting.

Yes Tretorns were the s*it. I’m so bummed, none of of the cool shoes I want come in wide width, since menopause ( who knew your feet could grow in width with menopause 😩 thankfully I can still find a few cute pair currently sporting Naturalizer in a neutral & Oncloud both so comfy.

However, l'm sorry to all who like wearing sneakers with outfit's outside of exercise and catching public transport, l don't think wearing sneakers is chic regardless of whether or not it has made a fashion runway.
