Avoid This Masseter Botox Pattern 

The theory is when you have less pressure going through the bone because you have weakened the muscle you can get a reduction in bone loss. I’m not aware of it happening anywhere else on the face.

It's not the botox itself it's the lack of use of the muscle. Same reason they encourage weight bearing exercise to avoid osteoporosis.

Might take longer for slimming effects, the muscle needs to have been relaxed for a while for slimming to happen. For me it took 2 months to notice a difference. Also, maybe you need a top up as well if it's still not smaller.

It may take several treatments over a course of time. Once you get the therapeutic dosage, return every three months. Think of it like a deeper set wrinkle. It needs treatment over time to soften. You also don’t want to overly freeze the muscle. I imagine this is the reason for bone loss ( an assumption). Also it’s not always a drastic difference to face shape, with anything else there are several factors to your facial anatomy and resulting appearance. Hope that helps!
