I will add a point for students , Kindly download video lecture and then watch not live .Because youtube is business platform so it wil divert your mind due to advertisements. Dr shb keep it up u r doing great job.

Yes sir it is very addictive to see short videos on every social media platform.

One more suggestion I'd like to give is track your screen time daily, and try to keep is below 3 hrs at max. You can limit time usage for most used apps like Facebook, Twitter etc in Android under the "digital well being" menu in settings. Similar features are available on iOS. Limiting my daily screentime also helped me in boosting my productivity.

I used to use Instagram/Facebook and then I saw a documentary "social dilemma" (will recommend to everyone) and was amazed how these apps algorithms are controlling me and I instantly deleted the Instagram, Facebook and Snapchat and now I am making progress Alhmdulillah. I just use Twitter and LinkedIn (mostly on Desktop)

There is a documentary name "The social dilemma", this doc is about that how social media use us and how these algorithms are designed so that users spend more time on screen.after watching this doc when I absorbed my screen timing and i was shocked to know that I spent more than 4-6 hours/day using social media, after that, I deleted TikTok,Instagram and also unfriend some useless(people who are not related to my field) people from Facebook and start following professional the people .

Yes you are right when I was in 4th smester i uninstall Facebook and other social apps , its becomes useful for me I learn many technologies ( approx 15 ) The main challenge is to avoid youTube shorts because it is in-App formula creating toooooooooooo much distraction

When you see someone doing something "cool", you think to yourself that might be important and you leap towards it and the result is that neither your master what you were doing nor can you grasp the new thing since the next interesting thing is posted.

I would like to add one thing, disable all the mobile notifications for consistent focus.

This social media addiction is something that I struggled a lot and it just ruin my attention and focus. I would be like someone who would have spend 8 to 9 hours or a whole day in front of laptop.But in these hours hardly my productivity an hour or 2. My advise to everyone (Junior, Senior, Professionals) if you haven't master and control your mind from this social media deilmma it would cause a huge loss. Better be experiencing it by own. Learn from other people's experience.

Sir, I haven't installed Facebook, Instagram and other social apps in my mobile, but youtube is pre-installed.Yeah, I don't feel any hesitation to share that, I am also little bit addicted to youtube shorts. I know, I am wasting my time somewhere but not be able to figure out till now. But now I realized my mistake. But I tried to delete youtube but no success yet. You can only disable it from settings. Sir I wanted your suggestion, so I just completed my fourth semester and I thought it was a good time to do some internship and learn and polish my skills do I applied for multiple companies and one of them selected me took an interview and a task test and now they want me to join them. So it's like I've been working in flutter after my second semester so they are going to first polish that obviously by industry level projects and all and then teach me mern stack and some other stuff for 6 months and then turn it into a job for job I'll get pay according to my skill and time I give them but for the first 6 months they won't pay me it's like a training or so and it is all remote so do you think it's a good opportunity shall I take it and sign the 2.5 years contract or shall I drop it?what would you suggest
