I'm used to a certain amount of power lines here in Central Phoenix but Alamar is another level. I don't think I've seen a community that is surrounded by them like that before.
If you don't like the aesthetics of transnlmission lines, that's the only legitimate gripe for the neighborhood, but if you fear EMF (electromagnetic fields) from power lines, I got bad news for you, you can't get away from them unless you live off grid and without electricity. 300 feet is all you need to be away from those transmission lines to experience normal "background" levels you encounter in everyday life.
Besides the power lines, I didn't notice anything else that was outside of the norm for most new developments here in Phoenix. The developer has a good reputation overall and 9+ different builders are a part of the community so it's hard to say what other things people should be cautious of? I just know that the power lines would be a deal killer for me.
