Really informative video! Do you think it is worth building a mothership type vessel for this sort of thing? (Lots of docks and build for hyperspace and cargo hold, with repair equipment too) The idea would be to dock 2 or 3 combat only ships to it as well as a couple of mining ships, almost like having a mobile base
I did when I first started the game. After I started to using the wormhole strat, I stopped using motherships. I still have the designs for them, now I rely much more on multiple freighters.
curious why no point defense weapons? i generally don't pay attention to torps after a titainuim sectors, i will have all sides of my ship with at least 1 PD autocannon and rarely get hit
