RU-vid was great in the late 2000s/early 2010s. Back when creativity was what got you noticed. Now all you have to make is clickbait bullshit and you're guaranteed viewership
Same, I was just a kid back then and all I knew were the Predators, Aliens, and Hellboy, I had no idea who Rorschach was. Still looks great looking back.
i think i know what you mean, Chopper is dead on the ground and Wolf takes his mask off and puts Choppers on to see what happend to Chopper (like in AVP2: Requiem) so it is indeed Wolf and Chopper (see AVP: The Hunting to see what happend to chopper, if you haven't already)
That's definitely a great music piece from that movie and you use it pretty well while also being rather effective at the start of this stop-motion video. Same with the use of the Watchmen film score at AVP: The Hunting video especially the Rescue Mission music piece.
@0101megatron wow to explain it on this is alot, but the basics would be, get a figure or object and useing a digital camera (on a stand to make the movememnt smooth) take a picture of the object, move it a little, take another picture, and move it again. keep doing this to get the appreance of movement, generaly i use 25 pictures per second makeing the movement life like. and thats how basic stop-motion is done :)
I love the motions and how you used Hot Toys, makes me wanna purchase em... But you do need to work on those sound effects. My finger kinda curls in when I hear a manmade sound. lol
@CurtisAlfeld in the hellboy movies all the agents are named after natural earth made things ( agents coal, clay, lime, moss) ....so i moved on to trees!
i use MS Paint and paint the effect into each single frame, so for a gun shot, it usualy takes three frames to do, from it begining with a small shot and then next frame bigger and then small again to make it look like gun fire if you know what i mean, same goes for makeing the preds invisible, i just paint them out of each frame more and more
@milltiaryman001 i got the face hugger off of Ebay and the chestbuster came with Wolf predator. ebay is a good place to try for all of them, such using Hot Toys as thats the company that makes them :)
@kevinthai30 its not on the site i got it on anymore. they don't make the Wolf figure anymore and there very hard to find. you could try ebay. could be rather expensive tho.
The single bad thing about this is you're not very good at Alien noises. But other than that this was cool. I like how you added in Hellboy and Watchmen.
@freddyMEGAfanboy483 some times its a camera trick, by useing the camera, most times tho i have a stick or i'm just holding the figures and then erase the stick/my hand in MS paint, i haven't got to the point of useing green screen yet
@sdawg310 hah yeh i found the alien noises a problem, i didn't want it to sound like an alien or a predator, as he's a hybird, so i did my own think, and i had to have hellboy in it!
well i know he did, as i said before, at the time of making this i couldn't find any Predalien sound flies, if i find them, i'll use them if i make the next one
have you seen the hellboy films or read the comics? he's fought ALOT worse and come out on top, he's been impaled through the chest, blown up, shot etc due to his.....heritage....he's very hard to kill so i think they are very evenly matched but i feel Hellboy would eventually come out on top.

i bought him YEARS AGO from Sideshow collectables i think.....it was that or Forbidden Planet. i bought it when it was released so i have no idea how much they'd be now
