I’m a 31 year old lady now, and this song has almost 10 years of history, but I swear she could do that 2:04 “Let Go” appearance even today since she never really aged. Back in 2002 I was 12 and she was the girl every teen girl wanted to look like, she was just unique. That part when she skates dressed like “Complicated” makes me cry literally, my heart is so stuck in the past sometimes.

if you really think about it this video/song is actually kinda sad. She never actually looks genuinely happy and i think she's just reminiscing on the time when she thought nothing was going to change, but it inevitably did. The scene at the end where she is left alone just kinda shows how the other kids moved on.
