Today's session was really hard cause I couldn't focus and I had to take a lot of breaks but I'd like to thank Benji for his beautiful dream run cause it distracted me long enough to make it through most of the pulses. Let's be kind to ourselves even when we take breaks or can't focus properly 💜

Get To Know, day 7🎉 thank you, Adriene, for this practice, it was a bit tricky today as having two late nights and early mornings has caught up with me😩, but I'm so glad I made it to my mat, as it has given me some much-needed energy for the day ahead. 💖🧘🏼‍♀️🙏🏻

Hi Adriene, I really hope you get to read this. I am a person who struggled severely with an eating disorder. I entered residential treatment in October of 2019 and am currently in an IOP program. Your videos were recommended to me by one of the therapists, and I am so glad she told me about you. I have a history of over exercise to the point of destroying my body. You are helping me to cultivate a better relationship with my body, and to find a way to move that empowers rather than tears down. Each day along my journey with you, I'm learning how to move mindfully for health, rather than to burn calories or judge/critic my body. You are truly making an impact on my recovery journey, and I couldn't be more grateful for that.

Get to Know Day 7: I finally caught up for the week and my anxiety has finally settled. This practice was amazing and hard. My sciatica really let me feel those fire hydrant pulses. I surprised myself with how strong I have gotten. Yes I was shaking the entire practice but not once did I decide to take a break or give up. Nice Challenge. Thank you Adriene 🙏🏽

MOVE guys, who else is here? Today is my 3rd month of yoga everyday. This hanging out in plank and downward dog like there's no tomorrow. I don't recognise myself. Love to Adriene for this guidance and miracle. What is one thing that really stands out for you?💪

Can’t help but think about the parallels and metaphor of Benji dreaming he’s chasing something while we are taking a yoga class about awakening the artist within. Artist are always chasing a dream. Beautiful class!!!

Yey, it’s the one with Benji’s dream, we love him so ! This senior yogi wondered if I’d make it through this 40 minutes 🤔 but I was curious. I have been following MOVE every day and it’s been keeping my fitness up. I welcomed that halfway child’s pose and really enjoyed the challenge of this slow kind workout. The one legged pigeons were awesome, super stretchy relaxing and now I’m going to chill and have my breakfast. I hope I’ll make it through tomorrow’s 46 mins ! See you on the mat Adriene 🧘🏼‍♀️🧘🏻‍♀️🙏💕

I'm kind of hoping tomorrow's 46 min will be more of a pranayama practice... (Because today was HARD. I also loved the little extended child's pose in there.) But we'll take it as it comes :)

Gill, We just "met" recently but it is clear to me that you can make it through anything you put your mind and heart to - "your version", of course! One of my favorite fitness instructors tells us often that "the body hears what the mind says", which I remind myself frequently. I love your description of being curious...what a great way to move through that wondering and enter into the challenge. Let's be curious again tomorrow, ok? And - yes, the pigeons were lovely....and I SO delighted in moving into chair the way we were guided to - such a pleasure with a challenging pose.

Ellen, I used to feel I failed if I didn’t have the stamina to complete a practice. I hate negativity, so I have learned from Adriene to adjust to suit my body and dare I say “age”, and now I never worry and just enjoy myself. But I always try to meet my edge so I don’t go backwards, always forward. Yes, we shall be curious together tomorrow for definite, thanks Ellen 🧘🏼‍♀️🧘🏻‍♀️🙏

Sorry everyone, this comment is a bit of a long one, but wanted to share! So today was a tough one! One of the things I have always stuggled with is to let myself be imperfect when exercising. I've never been very fit and when I try a new exercise I always berate myself for not being able to it perfectly, and I either oush myself too hard or give up. Now, I've been doing YWA regularly for 8 months now, and I've got better at queting that voice. However, last week it got the best of me and I definitly pushed myself too far and injured my back. Although I had noticed I was hurting, I didn't LISTEN to my body and kept puching through MOVE regardless. This practice, although beautiful, proved too much and I threw in the towel halfway and began to feel really guilty about doing so! But I know that is NOT the way to feel, and that what my body was telling me is that I need rest, and that this community will be ready and waiting when my body is ready. SO while I do that, and some lovely meditation in the meanwhile, best of luck to everyone else following with MOVE, and I'll see you all soon xxx

I’m so glad that you listened to your body and trusted what felt good and stopped before hurting yourself more! I’m the same always hard on myself for no reason, and then frustrated with myself for being too harsh! I've been doing daily practice since Breath and this is the best practice I've done in ages!! I feel so excited by my progress. I did a little namaste sharkfin and I think my appropriate edge has moved! Felt very strong and also found ease and breath and had fun. Those boat poses at the end felt so much easier when I was highly distracted by which creative arms I wanted next :D Happy MOVE calendar everyone

I used to really avoid the 40+ min practices because they just seemed so long. But now I found myself looking forward to them. I’ve learned to treasure them because I know when it’s that long of a practice, it touches everything I could possibly be needing.

God Bless Adriene, that was good, I did find getting into some of the poses difficult, due to my tummy and thighs, but I did the best I could and will let give up but persevere and achieve eventually. I'm in this club as well. I struggle with child pose due to my belly and I can't get a good deep breath. I usually sub in extended child's pose so I can widen by knees to get my belly down. Let's just continue to do our thing. I've at this everyday since January 2nd and I have gained some much strength. We got this!

I’m glad I did this today (feb 22, 2222). I struggled a bit holding some of the warriors and my hips felt sore, but I enjoyed it. I’m looking forward to doing it again in the future and seeing if there is progress.

Move Day 6: Today's practice was long in comparison to the others, and getting onto the mat was challenging, but I did it and enjoyed the whole practice, except for pigeon, which has always been difficult for me. I hope to find pigeon again in the near future, because the only way I will improve my pigeon is with more practice! I believe that sometimes the poses we like the least are the ones we need to do the most, for that's the only way to improve.

Pigeon is hard but a great hip opener. So necessary for a healthy wellbeing. If it's too challenging it can be done on your back.

BLOSSOM | February 22, 2022 | 🌸 A strong and creative flow for the 22nd day of the 2nd month in the 22nd year! 2⃣2⃣. This practice invites a lovely dance with our breath, I particularly like the high lunge - twist - warrior II transition. The pigeon was a sweet surprise at just the right time, and of course any moment with a foot rub, is a good moment 👣😊.

I'm 33 years old and HATED Yoga from ever since I can remember. It felt boring, incredibly slow, and unsatisfactory. Αbout 20 days ago I ran into "you". Now I will do one of your videos every single day, no exceptions, even if it's a 5-min one. I have ADHD, so I can't thank you enough for being so easy-going and kind, thus helping me to effortlessly form what seems to be a wonderful (hopefully long-lasting) habit by now. I fell in love with your attitude and, through it, I fell in love with yoga. Keep on shining

sometimes I initially feel more reluctant coming to the mat for practices more than 25 mins but every single time I show up I know I’m gonna love it and feel more present after and it actually went so fast loved everything about this practice Adrienne’s wise words in between were amazing ❤

i am here for wonder december 2023 calander, and it is day 2! greetings from turkey :)! i had just graduated from uni on july, i am unemployed for a while and prepareing for master programs enterence exams. It means my life full of chaos and uncertainity which i hate as a control freak high achiever. As a result i felt like i lost control over my life and decided to take it over back. So, as a first step i start with my own body and mental health. I think adriene's yoga practices help me about it. Thank you so much!

I'm not feeling too good today so decided to modify the first thirty minutes of this practice, then decided for the last ten minutes i would just lay on the mat and listen to Adriene. Move calandar day 6! Quite long in coparison with other days! Nevertheless, loved the heat and the transitions between the poses! I don't know how much awakening this can be but it really awakened my muscles and core! Thank you Adriene!❤🌹

Day 6 - Expand done and I love this Practice 💕 Spent doing it in the Sun with my Beautiful Staffordshire Bull Terrier along side also running in his sleep... 40 minutes of Yoga Bliss which always feels like five minutes... Time flies most definitely when your having fun 🤩 Namaste 🙏💕

After doing Breath every day in January, I only did a couple sessions in February. I started again yesterday and I wasn't expecting such a long and challenging practise today. Feels very good to be back tho :)

BLOOM 🌸 | May 6, 2023 | I'm feeling a little tired today on my first back home after a full day of flying, so while this practice for sure felt strong - I think it was perfect to ground me back into my body. The cooldown is so yummy and now I feel so relaxed that I probably could have a nap. But I won't because I don't want to mess with my sleep schedule too much. So instead I'll settle for a leg up the wall pose for a few minutes! 🙏

“Trust the process” is something I’ve been hearing for the past 5 years now, ever since joining massage school. It really is all about the in between moments, that’s where life really happens! Today I started this practice not very happy about the 40minutes because I was tired ...but the moment with the Benji dreaming and running make me laugh so hard that really this was the best moment of my day today and I forgot all the tiredness and end this session with a big smile 😀

This was the first practice I did that I genuinely experienced the feeling of wanting to throw in the towel several times. I'm the type of person who would quit sports when I wasn't good at them upon starting them as a child. I like the journey, but only if it's easy. This has shown up in my life in many ways, and it's one of the biggest challenges I face as a poet. When I don't like what I'm writing, I give up for MONTHS. It hinders my creative process, as I quit before I can even start when I don't feel inspired. I paused the video to go do something else, as I was frustrated feeling like I couldn't do it, then ultimately came back. I stopped during a couple of the transitions, as the poses were challenging for me and I began to feel discouraged. Then it all clicked for me all at once. You have to push through and let yourself flow regardless of internal judgement, it's the only way! Thank you so much Adriene! I think you're awesome. Appreciate you and your vulnerability!

Thanks for this!! What you describe sounds just like me. I have slammed my wrists on the floor before out of frustration because i couldn't hold a particular pose (think it was side plank). And whilst I myself am not a writer, I have been trying to write more because I find it calms my mind in a way nothing else can, and I really miss the creative outlet in writing/drawing/using my imagination I had as a kid/teen. I often feel so frustrated and embarrassed by the fact that stuff doesn't usually just flow out of me when I write, that I end up putting off trying for a really long time. I really want to get better at pushing through that! And I think yoga is a place to practice doing that. Reading your comment was a relief to me! It's nice to know I'm not the only one who has this internal battle raging around writing!

I got pretty emotional during this practice and almost stopped half way, but I kept going and I feel better for it! Thank you so much Adriene for helping me to create my safe, happy space. It’s funny when I’m doing yoga with headphones and the mic picks up Benji’s mouth sounds when he licks after a nap. I hear his tongue in my brainnnn 😂 animals are okay, but I’m still like 🥴 for about 30 seconds around the last 5 minutes. Lovely practice! It was amazing to tune into the minutiae of each pose. It is fascinating to see how difficult poses can get when I start to use every single muscle with intention. I can break a sweat in mountain pose by tuning into engagement of every single muscle. So rad! ❤🌻

Near the beginning, I started to feel the pain of menstruation but I had already made my choice and was not going to back down. It made my body feel heavy and slow. Keeping on with my practice and my focus on getting the most out of it, I mostly didn't even notice the cramping of my uterus. It was there, but very faint, softened by the strength of the stretches. The past few days, I have been so amazed at the power that I feel in me as I move through daily practice. I thought I had seen the fruits of my labors before, but wow it's the gift that keeps on giving as I keep on seeking! I am so very grateful for this time to help me to become present in a world so filled with distractions.

Here for Day 1 of the August *Enquire* Calendar 🙏 It's really hot in the UK at the moment, which has made this practice harder than the last time I did it. Woke up early for a weekend and worked through this, allowing for additional childs pose when the heat was too much. I really enjoyed the creative boat poses at the end, I had a lot of fun, just playing around making shapes with joy! 🌱🌈💞 Thank you Adriene for inviting us to join you on the mat🧘‍♀️

It's very cool in Wisconsin, USA today..I'm not sure if that's why or if it's because today starts day 1 of 8th months of daily practice, but this one was far easier the 2nd time for me. My balance was awful the 1st time and the boat pose I can remember thinking, "you get creative Adriene. I'll focus on not tipping over and admire you." Today, I struck a pose! So thankful for Adriene and this, Kula.

Blossom Day 22 🌸 Another practice that's a bit too advanced for my skill level I skipped the high lunges and pigeons, went straight to the foot massage and creative boats - chose wide open palms facing up because I'm struggling with the idea of being an open book and vulnerable with new connections 💚

I joined Yoga with Adrien at the beginning of the year with Breath and stuck with my daily practice ever since but this was probably the most challenging day so far! Struggled to really connect to my breath the first half of the video but very proud i stuck with it and came into a flow!:)

This practice really challenged me. It pushed my energetic body to its ultimate edge and asked my emotions to stay in the moment. That's hard for me. I got a little angry, a little frustrated. I wanted it to be over so I could get to my mountain of work. However, I think the magic of this practice was that I showed up, didn't give up, and was forced to be right here with my body. Thank you for this much needed moment of presence Adriene!
