Awakening Your INNER SHAMAN - Marcela Lobos 

Thank you, Marcela. Beautiful! I appreciate your description of the Hero's (or Heroine's) Journey. This term, The Hero's Path has chafed me for quite a while, as to me it sounded very masculine. I felt "That's not my path, it's not my way. I'm not a hero, don't want to be. I know MY path, purpose and mission is to open to and then remind others of the great, astounding love of The Great Mothers. I find myself in a spiritual community with several male teachers and students and often I feel the message translates to "muscling up", facing your fears and "doing it anyway", with a heavy emphasis on sacrifice, duty, surrendering your personal agenda and "getting past "the ego". All of those are parts of a spiritual path, but I think women's journey may be a little different. It seems we often need to reclaim our power, and simply recognize and honor who we are. I would be interested in your perspective on this. ❤ Your story helped me to see The Hero's Journey in a different way that I can relate to. Thank you.🙏

You described my journey to a T. I surrendered NOV 4, embracing my Goddess. I never followed goddesses. So I found myself setting at my dressing table painting my face. I painted the tree of life. For some reason I took pictures. Ended up being the a story telling, you can see all the ugly, mean, pent up rage, the hurt and pain poured out and I was filled with love, light, and in my opinion the most beautiful pictures I have ever taken. I have always been a Texas hippie chick, tree hugger, animal lover, nature lover, felt closer to the Devine in nature then I ever did in a church. I never fit in, I have had 2 near death experiences. And I have premanitions all my life. Ended up hiding them because people thought I was crazy. I'm a little Irish a little Cherokee. Iv always been a little mystical. Long story short I started making walking sticks, rattles, numerous other things. Now I'm seeing people and animals in bones of animals and pieces of wood that I find on my nature walks. Does any one else see them? They tell a story. I don't mind being called crazy... lol I really like it. I was lead to Alberto and you by what I thought was accidentally clicking on the wrong page. Now I'm understanding so much. My intuition is the rattles, walking sticks and other items that I have are meant to help some one. My first rattle I made and it was meant for me ended, at the time I made it I just went with my intuition, the handle is a stick from a beautiful oak tree, the holes are sealed with beautiful tree roots from Oklahoma and is filled with Nebraska hemp seeds, sweetpea seeds, corn kernels and small river rock peoples . Every thing except the tree root I gathered on our property. Even the feathers. I was lead to write this for someone, Thank you and love and light. I'm so happy to find my tribe. And I'm proud to be called crazy.

I adore this GODDESS. I have had similar resistance to the Great Father. Amazing trancendental awareness in moving through and beyond to source. Beyond name and form. Female and male. Atonement with the mother and father is a magnificent milestone. These are word for word a part of my experience in this life. Awareness. Thank you so much for this feminine energy so magnificent. When you spoke about the 'fear of loosing the SACRED again' I felt that very deeply. We're healing centuries of overbearing 'Papal - Monarchy' male dominance that has methodically worked to destroy our natural connection to this. Forgiving the hubris and reclaiming our sacredness is truly THE work. It feels to me like your book will be a good companion to my soul. I've had a very profound experience recently where everything seemed to come into place and it felt like mother nature was trying to reach me. However the whole experience was very overwhelming and the transformation of my self was very fast to the point that I felt like a was going insane, everything around me seemed to come in synchronised order so I stopped and went back to my usual routine. However, the more I surrender, the more I'm drawn towards that space again and I realise that my attachments to what is known by the ego are in the way. It's beautiful and terrifying at the same time to step into the unknown.
