There is no greater awards than a place in people's heart. By this logic definitely this song and perhaps all songs of Pakeezah composed by Gulam Mohammed was class apart. But Bollywood is a showman business where awards are bought and sold and therefore, it has no value.

Ashaji sang superhit songs, but she couldn't get filmfare or other awards when compared to other singers. Very sad. She was neglected during 1960, 1970 decades.

Aradhana songs are still popular and this song is forgotten. No where it comes near Aradhana film songs.

Bolywood had done injustice to SD Burman by depriving him of the award for the second time time. This selection was also a biased one as was done in the case of Guide.

Harindranath Chattpadhyay penned the song but did not get award for My Heart is Beating. Sad.

For the duet song of Tak Mahal in the previous episode you didn't announce Rafi Sahab name only Lata's Why??. Secondly for Beimaan why did you play Pakeezah's song just because you liked Pakeezah songs not done. You are merely stating facts for each year how can anyone change the facts of the program. Not done. I thought you had started an enjoyable ride for us listeners like the immortal " Amin Sayani" Sahab but alas your bias spoiled the whole show. I am blunt but facts are facts.Sir.
