@@Mutant_Modsthere are so many good ones that maybe playing a few levels or some other standardized length would be ok I would assume. More balanced and healthy for the player in terms of time being used.
Yeah words alone cannot describe how good that total conversion is, it made me take my sweet sweet time to explore every nook and cranny and go back through multiple saves to see every ending
Mutant, these videos you put out are consistently the most entertaining and high quality doom videos i see here on youtube, you definitely put a lot into this video and it shows. (that ending speech was very well put). You're one of my go to youtubers when it comes to doom and fallout mods and i am glad to have stumbled across your channel. keep ripping and tearing.
While it's hard to get the scope of the best mods for Doom, there are some that deserve more attention: 1)Hideous Destructor. If you look at top mod on "ZDoom Community Top Works of All Time" then you will see this mod taking the cake. While some users would distant themselves from slow paced mod in Doom it still an incredible mod that transforms it into coop tactical shooter with plenty of freedom to go about the way to complete maps. If it's too much to handl then there is also lighter version of this mod called Deathstrider. 2)Russian Overkill. The essence of "if more and bigger then better". I don't need to introduce the amount of fun this mod provides with the most powerfull arsenal that ever existed. It's perfect for people craving for that "power fantasy" feeling. 3)Brutal Doom and Project Brutality. Yeah, yeah, i know. We all know about thoes two mods, i think there is no one left who didn't hear about it so let's just move on. It still deserved to be at least being mentiond. 4)Blade of Agony. It's basically just a fan game on doom engine. All usuall Wolfenstein stuff with a touch of modern design. 5)Urban Brawl: Action Doom 2. One of the best TC that ever existed in my opinion. Beatem-up style gameplay with cool comic art style and plenty of secrets to discover. Also on of the best OST. List can go on like this forever, but you get my point.
Why do you make a list of mods that „deserve more attention“ and then only list well-known and extremly popular mods😂 You are right you probably dont have to mention brutal doom as not only is it the most popular doom mod but one of the best known mods in general.
@@Paisly_ They are quite popular inside Doom community, but not outside of it(only brutal doom have that popularity). I mentioned them because they wasn't being mentioned in the video since if we talk about greatest mods of all time then at least some of thoes mods should be mentioned.
HD has two major issues. The first is, although it's meant to be a tacticool shooter, they insist on having mimics that look like barrels and then fire at you. Why? No clue, screw you, die. Two, the head bob is immensely, IMMENSELY jarring. It completely screws up the flow. If these things weren't in it, it'd be very damn cool. To add to this list, Lost In Darkness is EXTREMELY good. It's basically S.T.A.L.K.E.R in doom.
"The seed changes and somehow everyone gets the same challenge on the same day." This is simple. Just use the date as the seed, or use the date as the seed for the RNG.
Doom 1 & 2 with mod support is out now for consoles! To bad all the Zdoom stuff dont work because the Kex engine dont support this. An video with the best must play mods for console whould be nice!

Yes but my main focus is on Fallout now because that’s what makes me money. When I’m well off or reach a sustainable amount of revenue I will eventually start making Doom videos again,

Yeah i love me something like the very first mod you showcased, was playing Minecraft recently with some Lucky Mod, and oh boy, while lacking some more depth, it was a lot of fun having so much RNG at play.
A suggestion for improvement for the next listings is to put the name of the mods somewhere in the corner of the screen, as English is not my native language and I don't understand it 100%, some names I end up not understanding much when the name of the mod is said. .
I respect the insane amount of editing that went into this but not showing the mod's / wad's / total conversion's name in the description with a timestamp is a rookie mistake. Sometimes it is not even on the screen, you just mention it. Not optimal. Also..you seek to educate the unwashed people here on how to download and play mods and you feature clips about GzDoom and the ZDL frontend. The style and voice acting is cool but it will not really help out your average Joe. Too fast, too little info. Aaand you have the audacity to use the click-bait "of ALL TIME" then you simply omit talking about mods like Total Chaos, Hedon, Siren, Countrycide....Age of Hell.....I mean just to name a few. All in all this is a pretty mediocre attempt but I guess it is the CPM that counts, right?

Is it possible to install all the best New Vegas mods, such as those roleplay, graphics, mechanics and animation from previous videos and make an ultimate New Vegas assemblage? And if it is so, would you make a video aby it? I think, many people would find it interesting!
I have hundreds of videos ideas stored away. It just takes time to make videos I'm willing to actually upload. Many of them are Fallout 3 related. So in the future.

This video has no right to be so good, so well produced and with such a closed script just to show Doom mods. The effort that was put into this video is phenomenal and very welcome for today's times. In fact, I started playing Ashes 2063 and I'm completely amazed by its gameplay. Doom possibly has the best community of modders ever seen.
Hey MutantModder, you might've already heard about this, but the Doom mod community lost one of their own recently. TiberiumSoul, the developer of a doom mod called Insanity's Requiem, passed away on May 29th 2024 in his sleep. The work he was doing on this mod looked incredible, you should check it out if you aren't already familiar. May he rest in peace.

Hey man, I know this isnt the right video, but Its ur most recent so I will comment. I installed both ur graphics and Gunplay mod lists for FNV a couple days ago. The performance was bad and I couldn't really tell if the graphics mods were working. There was a crosshair in the screen always even when adsing, and I don't know if the ads crosshair was lined up. Also in Mo2 there were tons of different mods overwriting each other or being over written. What should I do? Also some mods you recommend when you go to the nexus page it says other mods are required for that one to work. If you could just explain how you configure both modlists, and also mby what I could do abt the fps issue, or like just recomending a video to explain it even. Sorry for the essay, thanks again.
