I'm not sure why, but I've been pronouncing Hion like Neon. Probably because it's described as looking like Neon lights at the beginning.

The matrix but What if the consuming humans for fuel actually made sense, Neo was a girl and had to learn Jenga instead of Kung Fu, Trinity was a pest exterminator and Morpheus was a coat rack. The machine seems to have basically been another nightblood but even worse, awakened machine that disintegrates souls to black smoke with its own very non humanlike mind. I'd have loved to see more of it, a pure reflex agent with no sense of self but still with an ability to plan. Reminds me of model free reinforcement or short-horizon planners in AI research. The machine was scooping up remnants of virtuosity and maybe was on the path to literally becoming a sliver of it, if it wasn't already, then maybe even later actually becoming a shardholder, now there's a terrifying what if. also you can't convince me the machine isn't a reference to the pebblesorter thought experiment (search pebblesorter rational animations) Already had two disasters with awakening. The cosmere really needs some fantasy equivalent of AI alignment research or this is just going to keep happening. So if there's one thing this story taught me it's that Midjourney will eat my soul for fuel.

my favorite secret novel so far

So the spoiler card says it’s a Yumi sticker and it’s for your favorite new noodle shop so I think that’s a call to when Yumi gains ownership so I’m thinking it’s the Noodle Princess logo

I thought the sticker was refering to the rebrand of the shop making it the Noodle Princess, plus Yumi is always depicted with her hair down vs Design who always has her hair in a bun... but I can't read the characters so I guess someone smarter will have to settle which it is, Noodle Pupil or Noodle Princess
