The high res pictures on the website are such a nice way of seeing the entries up close. Opening them in a new tab really helps, especially on a 4k screen.

Awesome show Lads, haven't participated but loved listening to the show as always. Great work from the judges (and yeah I could listen for many many more hours). Loved to hear the thought process. Fantastic minis from fantastic artists, congrats to all the winners and participants. Kudos to Matt for the backstage shenanigans and finally chapeau bas to Henry for dressing up! Cheers!

Another tip for getting good photos: look at the image on a bigger screen like a laptop or TV. It's a lot easier to see if things are overexposed or out of focus or too pixelated on a big screen. Images tend to look better than they are on a phone screen because they have high pixel density in a small space and higher contrast. If it looks flat, or shiny or desaturated try lowering the exposure on their camera a bit and moving your lamps.

yes, you'll be able to watch it at any time from the moment the prem starts. It's not a LIVE show.

Congratulation to All! Still, hope that next year "system which move works between categories" will be fixed. If Master categorie is for people who won a couple events ect. I feel a bit offended by moving my works from Standard to Master, having only a couple months of experienc in painting minis :/

The Master level isn't just for people who have won at other events. You could enter either Master or Standard but not both. Your miniatures were automatically moved from Standard to Masters because you entered your single figure into Masters and other entries into Standard. As stated on the entry form, you could ONLY enter one level and that if you enter a piece into Masters, ALL entries would be moved into Masters. If you wanted to remain in Standard after entry closing you should have reached out.

We are working really hard on the entry system for next year's free online competition already. Hopefully we can avoid any disappointments like yours with regards to submissions. The individual will have much greater control over editing their entries. Thank you for entering this year's comp and I hope we see you there for 2024's! - Henry

Golden demon winning pieces being entered into and winning in standard is a joke. Not only should they have entered that into Masters but the judges should have seen that aswell. Very disappointing and I'd be very upset if I was the person who won silver instead of gold due to a piece being in the wrong section.

I was well aware it won at golden demon. Also the people who won silver would still get silver if it was entered or not. That’s not how it works.

@@andywardle2988so you knew it was a Golden Demon winning piece yet still kept it in standard? Can I ask the reasoning behind this, surely a piece like that should be in masters

@@snowy5628 just because something has won at golden demon doesn’t mean it is at master level. I believe one person did make a mistake and meant to enter to master but clicked the wrong button, we will amend that in the future. But the point still stands golden demon winner doesn’t make entering master compulsory. I’ve seen plenty of things win golden demon that wouldn’t place in bronze master here, MSS or SMC. I say this from first hand experience.
