It made me smile happily, made me proud and very happy, and it send me happily to sleep in bed. And the little Lord Jesus used to be born who lived with his father named Joseph and his mother named Mary too.

A little over 55 years ago my friends and I used to go door to door carolling and this was my favourite song of all. To this day, our local radio station asks us to call in and let them know which Christmas carol we want to hear, and I always, when I get through, request this one. Tears to my eyes.
