Good to see another believer in the car community! We’re few and far between and I love you have a Bible download in description, God bless I’ll keep you in my prayers
That comment for fully building a D for $1500 is a little stretched. Parts are about the same cost across, d / b / k only difference would be the cams with 1 vs 2. I just threw patters in my d16 and that blows the "1500" budget alone.
Hey brother I got some aftermarket awd stuff for that rear diff if Ed is interested ! Upgraded clutch packs , quick spool kit also have a dress up kit for the diff aswell
Find a good d 2 b adapter plate that's not 1k lmk. I was thinking about doing this few weeks ago on mine. Was thinking about bag boosted and awd. Like seeing eddie on there cant wait see more with u him and aj all together
d16 gears are harsh... a d to b plate, with a b swapped trans, lsd and swapped final drive, can go type r kinda style wich is 4.9 but given its drag racing i dunno,
wonder if full race and an-R is still around, OG Gude? lol og d series stuff, have lie reground cams, turbo cast manifolds, i think they made a few intakes on the down low
Great video, I'm building a B16 turbo for my 63' Mini Cooper pickup. I'm here in Texas and was wondering where you are located. you know way more about Honda set up's than I do. I also have a full weld and machine shop.
@@operatoncreation6396 I ran a stock y7 head with a stock y8 cam Vtec locked with a z6 head and it made over 330whp so this will definitely do better on just a stock z6 head and cam. The valves and cam will be upgraded too on this so it won’t be slow. We will make sure of that.
QUESTION??? I HAVE A 01 CIVIC AND IT IS IN LIMP MODE, MY RESEARCH SAYS ITS 1 OF THE FOLLOWING Alternator, cam/crank sensor, or ecu, is their anything outside that that can cause limp mode? It only pulls codes for 02sensor and crank sensor
Enthusiast: nice Teg mate, let us have a look under the bonnet. You: 😉☺️ thanks mate, sure, *pops the bonnet* Enthusiast: ah…. What a shame. Jokes aside, nice build fellas!
Smart build. I’d pick a D series for rally over a B series. Single can is cheaper and less issues and can be taken care of way more easily on the fly. Great drag car. Great circuit. This is nice
Awesome guys . Looks beautiful. And it don’t matter if other people don’t like it . If your a true Honda/car lover how could you not like this !!! I can’t wait to see how it runs
I think a spacer would definitely give you more spacing for the ceramic coat or heat wrap. You can also put heat reflective tape on the cool side of the turbo housing. Great build.
@Texas Honda Channel once you get it together and everything if you pop the hood just to show someone its a d series before the race, could you hide the awd transmission and set up maybe you can leave a regular smaller tire in the back to help keep it a sleeper 😁 also it might help to hide spacer by sanding and painting it to match the motor and transmission and add texture to it by dabbing the wet paint with 80 grit sandpaper, I'm sure you know to prime the adapter too
