In this amazing collection of air to air footage you can see various air traffic flying by as seen from the airplane cockpit. Some of those airplanes had very large contrails behind them and some did not. In the video you can see the following awesome aircraft like the Airbus A380 (with massive contrails), Boeing 747, Boeing 777, Boeing 737, Airbus A320 and others. This video was filmed from the cockpit through thick cockpit glass so sometimes the video can be a little blurry. Also, a lot of zoom was often used hence the shakiness at some point. Nevertheless we hope that our air traffic cockpit video fans will enjoy this video and the massive contrails behind those beautiful airplanes.

Its a huge feeling to meet and see other planes in the air! I loved that as a kid. It was HUUUUGE! Boats and ships was also epic to watch, and emergency vehicles from over a city.

Most of these its hard truly get a sense of 450MPH + but they are hauling the mail at about a mile every 8 seconds as people aboard are having conversations, reading, taking in a nice scotch or snoozing away. Such technology and very smart engineers of hundreds of thousands of man hours and research. Watching this will make my flight in two days that much more appreciative.

I love the sense of camaraderie between the pilots. They may work for different airlines, but they all share the same sky.

And people are walking around like nothing is going on. Having a drink, watching a movie or having something to eat. We think the pilots are doing little. They are flat out talking and watching. Gee I love aviation

Great video! From that perspective you get more feeling of the speed compared to observing them from the ground. Actually moving around 1km every 4seconds and despite I have travelled with airliners many times I still think it's fantastic there are people in the plane high above. The technical development is fantastic.

When we see a car in 100 mph on the road it seems faster than the airplane in the sky.... but when we see planes from their levels damn they look insane fast... they are at 800kmph and u can feel 100mph car is nothing for this.

@@stephenbutler2692 The speed of '825mph' that was mentioned would have been the aircraft's speed over the ground (ground speed) NOT it's actual speed through the air (airspeed). With a tailwind, an aircraft's groundspeed can be quite a bit higher than its airspeed.

I've just completed an album-length instrumental electronic piece of music, the theme of which is to do with Flight and Airport activity. @museack I think he's referring to the 'dark' trail? It's still a condensation trail comprised of ice crystals, but only appears 'dark' due to the lighting conditions.
