Would you feel comfortable carrying this on an Amtrak as a checked bag? This is allowed but they say 15" w max. The mfg. states bike is 15.75" folded. It's a bit over the 50lb limit but they don't lift it normally.
Love your content! While your current bike reviews are awesome, I'm eagerly waiting for your take on the Neutronic ebike Excalibur. I'm practically itching to see a video review of it, as I'm seriously considering getting one myself!
Got my Jasion X-Hunter on Black Friday for $929 with some free accessories. The sale is still going on till NewYears. Really liking it and I hacked the computer to make it go over 35 mph. Just got some more free stuff from Jasion for making a short RU-vid video. Best deal out there right now. ENJOY
@@focus_driv3n440 I went on youtube and there are a few ways to do it. It's all in the P codes on the computer. and yes one of the ways is changing the wheel size.
Max speed with throttle is only 28mph. With pedal you can get up to 30mph. No way you will hit 35mph. You will need a bigger motor to hit that speed. This bike is only 750watt and peak 1400 watt. You probably change the wheel size giving it a higher reading but speed is still 28-30mph. Try using phone gps and see you will not get 35mph.
My question is good one when you have the limiter on p5 the the speed graph stays white at maximum travel .When you put the limiter on p8 the graph shoots into the red zone...Red usually means bad..Is there more of a chance of something breaking while in this red zone ..or the bike...Shutting down?.. I don't have an ebike this is my first one..for experienced E bikers can you keep a ebike in the read zone for extended periods of time ? Any comment would be appreciated..
@@TheJaYSolo I did for some reason it didnt go through. The brand is called Oraimo. The bike is a Scrambler 100. They are selling for 499 plus shipping and handling, which was 150 dollars. It may be less, or more depending on where you are shipping it to.
No it doesnt. It has a 750W motor that peaks at 1400. Huge difference. These companies sometimes put the peak watts up as if its the standard watt amount.
No, this is the notice from the website. **Exciting news! The black JASION X-Hunter has arrived! The JASION X-Hunter in black will be shipped to all customers on January 29th. Other colors of the JASION X-Hunter are expected to ship by February 6th. Thank you very much for your patience.@@Rico-dp8vv
No sometimes companies will put the PEAK motor amount as the regular watt amount. This is 750w general and 1400 peak, and also I have never heard of a peak being that much higher. There is a solid chance it is 1000 peak.
@@moderaterevolution504 Well, level ground, 28 mph, and a motor rating of 90Nm? Not all that bad at the given price point. So, are vendors "gaming" their ratings? Sure, they are, but this is a solid 28mph unit.
That stuff wouldn't change more than a mile + or - on the total range. The real factor is terrain (uphill/downhill) and what throttle you're at. The lights are a veryyyy low draw 12v system so it doesn't affect much for actual powertrain.
Thanks for replying. Could you give me an idea of the average speed? For sure more throttle means more juice. I used to ride an electric skateboard and for sure when temps went below 60 or so the battery life had a drop off. I’m in AZ and don’t plan on any cold weather riding.😁
Does look like a really nice bike in it's class. Full suspension in that sort of folding bike seems rare but nice. Another nice review to help pay the bills 👍
I'd advise against recommending a budget brand eBike for a delivery service. What's the after sales support like? Parts? Servicing? Door dash et al, it's constant stop/start. Do you know if this eBike is rated for this kind of thing? It wouldn't be very good for your channel if several people saw your comment and went out and bought this eBike. Your comment can be taken as an endorsement.
@@TheInjaYou are so positive and have a great attitude. I don't see how you deal with idiots like this online everyday. You clearly stated in the video that the price could go up but yet and still he came after you for no reason.
Actually, if you going to unlock to 28 mph, and you in a area that only allows class 2 and 20mph? Then if you drive a dork bike, then it is very stealth, and yet has great performance. It allows you to stay under the radar, and thus no one will bother you. It is for this reason I am rather likely to buy a folder - and this model looks to be ideal in that aspect.
