Awesome catch just steps from shore, large pompano on the fly! 

Fishing today it seemed quiet. I was ready to quit when something said try that group of fish shallow. Most of the time its just bait. Perfect cast 2 strips came tight. I thought snook but tossing the old pompano fly in case. this is not my first pompano casting to what appeared to be mullet very shallow.
