It is an expanding zoo so it will be interesting to see it a year from now as well. There is already a very good selection of animals in their large environments.

I saw a place on the main road in Carmen that said, "Shuttle to Safari". We took a van down from the park to Carmen to take a bus and they charged 100 P/person for that trip down that took 15 minutes. It is an interesting place to see and they continue to expand Kriss.

This is a nice place to relax and commune with the mother nature. Imagine this is a 120 hectare of pure serenity and tranquility. I'm glad our beloved CEBU have this. We don't need to go to Singapore for seeing wild animals.

This was a great adventure Emelio and will go back this year as they are adding to it.

I wanted to visit this place but I'll wait for the lions and elephants first. I like the safari concept and it's a much better environment for the animals.

It was an interesting adventure ECA BEN. They were building several new animal enclosures but I don't know the details.

Another great video. My last visit to a Zoo was 1965 and Brrokfield Zoo in the Chicago area. From the 30-40 shootings per day, much of Chicago's South side is a living zoo.

I understand about Chicago's shooting problem Gary. I have driven into the middle of a standoff between police and gangs in Los Angeles accidentally years ago. Phoenix, AZ (Tempe) has a great zoo I visited 3 years ago. This "zoo" is expanding so it will be interesting to see in a year or so.

Hello your Rod and I'm not this is a very relaxing informative video! Thank you buddy! This looks like yet another activity I can safely participate in and not get myself into trouble. Good clean fun as they say. The double humper was definitely appreciating the attention! Again thanks for all your hard work it's fun to cruise along with you on your adventures! Sincerely, BM

It was a fun day trip BM and reasonably priced. We were there on a weekday so not crowded at all. They seemed to have a helpful well trained staff also. You are probably very lucky you are not me. LOL.

My girl in Philippines sent me a pic of an overhead shot of a heart shaped cove in Coron Palawan PH I think. Is that a real place? I need to know for my trip there
@AmazingPhilippines1

I did an online search and didn't find what you are describing. Good luck as there are many great areas to explore around Coron.

the zoo looks like someplace I would want to go and the last time I was there was 2009 Riverbanks Zoo Columbia SC Somethings you can see and others are closed off. Its nice for a change to see the animals roam around free instead of behind walls. love the idea of being up and close to them. you know what its like here, they will sue you for anything. if you child gets a sliver or steps in poo lawsuit.
@AmazingPhilippines1
@AmazingPhilippines1 6 лет назад
Yes, I understand. They did a good job with having the animals in larger natural type enclosures and people can still view them much of the time Robert. They are expanding so it will be interesting to see in 6 months to a year.

Thanks Rod, looks very nice. I liked the open areas. Overall it kinda reminds me of San Diego Zoo.

It is a nice layout and a good experience. I have been to the San Diego Zoo many years ago. Phoenix, AZ also has a great zoo.

This park is up on the mountain and lots of trees and natural vegetation so it was not easy to get a good picture or video of the park, just areas of it as we walked. I saw the brochure for the "Adventure" part of the park with zip line and such but we did not get over there. That costs extra. It is an ongoing and growing project so things will expand also Larry.

Nice setting there including the crocodile petting area

I didn't get involved with the crocodile petting Kent. The camel did a pretty good job slobbering on my arm but he didn't bite.

They had a "soft" opening for many months and they continue to expand so I will go back in 6 months or so. It is quite high in the mountains above Carmen, Cebu and the trees provided quite a bit of shade from the sun in much of the park also Robert.

That's a pretty cool place. I'd like to go there. I know camels spit. Other animals that are related might also, but I couldn't say for sure.
@AmazingPhilippines1
@AmazingPhilippines1 6 лет назад
The camel slobbered all over my are but I edited that part out as one isn't supposed to be petting the animals....and it was a bit gross but the camel was very friendly and enjoyed the petting.

That's nice compared to a lot of zoos in the philippines where animals are cramped up

$16 a head is why we didnt go. There was 15 of my wifes family and I crammed in a van so it would have cost us $240.

It does add up. They should consider giving group discounts like so many attractions do in some parts of the world Matt.

I have seen videos of llamas spitting over the years so I warned my companion about getting too close....although it would have been a good video. LOL.

congrats Rod! you finally made it there! its beautiful concept having animals roam around free. I love the setting as well. I will be going here next month and thanks for the video and the info about the grab car, I would probably be using that as well. btw I heard theres a booth in IT park selling packages to go to Camiguin island tour. Camiguin is another eco-island new attraction, pretty neat and beautiful island. if you have time you should go check it out, its worth every penny!
@AmazingPhilippines1
@AmazingPhilippines1 6 лет назад
Yes, I am glad I finally made it and it was very interesting. They originally offered a buffet as part of the entrance fee to introduce people to it but now you have food "cafes" to order food. It will be interesting to see what they add in the next 6 months or year. Camiguin is an interesting island but I will probably visit a few other places first.

I have also heard that. He definitely slobbered all over my arm as he liked the rub but one isn't supposed to pet the animals so my fault Charles. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Hi friend, Cebu Safari Zoo, a 100-hectare safari owned by Cebuano pawnshop tycoon Michel J. Lhuillier.
@AmazingPhilippines1
@AmazingPhilippines1 6 лет назад
I read an article the Lhuillier has been interested in and "collecting" live animals for many years and finally put this park together to share with the people. It is a nice layout with most animals in "natural" environments Ralph.
