Thank you, I was able to go neck to neck with a Ducati 1098 until like 90mph, then he started to go. Yes the belly guard and quick shifter are the two mods that will come next, but I have to wait a bit, since I just bought a new project for the channel, a 1980 Honda CB750F Super Sport for a cafe racer project, I will start at the end of January. Your bike is amazing. As you know I’ve got a 2019 CB1000R as well as a 2018 Goldwing DCT so following you and your upgrades on the CB1000R is great. Love the phone mount and that alarm is fantastic. Thanks for sharing.
Liter bike putting down 120's hp at the wheel is a crime. Honda pulled the reigns in on this bike with neutering. Flash it to release the power in the first three gears and at the top, gear it up +1 at countershaft sprocket and enjoy the rip!

I love the custom painted red parts, the front fender looks awesome. This is how it should be coming out from the factory. Not really a fan of the fairing, thats just me. Nice work though.
I have the black version since 2019 and I love the bike. The first thing you should change are the tires. Dunlop Sportmax are the worst tires for the handling of the bike. I have the Bridgestone S22. If you like it more comfortable use the Continental Road Attack 3. You will feel the different.
Hey Mike, I will do it for sure, I need to do a 0-60 mph and 1/4 mile time. I will make those videos for sure and also another shoot of the bike when the last mod arrives, that's the belly pan spoiler, when that happens I will make another video and will include that shot from the rider's sit position as well.
@@PITBOY911 Mine is 2021 CB1000R Black Edition. I tried to install 2" rise handlebar from Rox. I saw cables are lil bit shorter to even stretch them to fit. any advise? thanks man. cheers.
i love the painted fenders (have been considering doing that to my own), ambivalent feelings about the headlamp fairing (i think that goes way too much retro), ...but all those random stickers all over the bike ruin the whole thing to me... yuck one day you shall decide to get rid of them, and when you do that and see the clean bike you shall remember me! :D cheers
Is there a dyno chart? And would this company consider selling the tune? I have the same exhaust setup, but my tune is garbage, and it’s causing issues.

Hi Mike, The Retro fairing was like $260, they charge me $300 to paint the fairing plus the two fenders and the cover around the ignition key. Now the real problem was trying to get the R381C Candy Chromosphere Red OEM paint, no one can reproduce it, so I have to order a 1/4 of the paint + a 1/4 of the special base that is required for a astonishing $435.00! at colorrite.com , so it's a very costly mod.
@@toofastnobrakes Yeah, it was more expensive that I expected. But you can buy less paint and cut that paint cost in half, I bought a 1/4 to save some paint for the future in case, but you don't need that I guess.
@@PITBOY911 sweet. Question is how much wind does it actually block? Have you noticed much difference in town or highway? I’m not expecting it to block much, but how good is it?
@@toofastnobrakes okay so this is the thing, love your question, I haven't take it over 90mph yet, but it does make some difference, I think it worth the investment, the main difference is that with the previous windshield you have to literately flat yourself into the tank in order to cut some wind, with this is half way and you are already cutting all the wind. In a normal seating position it makes no difference around town.
Bike looks GREAT! I just found a new-in-crate 2019 last week, and picked it up yesterday. What part number on your bar risers? Rox risers can't give me an answer.
@@j.6657 there's a very little inventory of used in the USA. They didn't import a significant quantity of cb1000r and apperars to be the same on the new ones, the used ones are going up in price in the used market.

@@PITBOY911 Awesome! Thanks so much for the reply :-) I've already added the full frame slider kit and radiator protector from T-Rex, amd will be grabbing these risers asap. Still waiting to hear back from Ohlins USA for a possible fork conversion and rear shock. Lots of carbon fiber stuff to order up as well. My new 1000R is replacing an old CB919 "Hornet", and I'm totally loving the new look. Thanks again for posting your mods...LOVE your bike!
What were your torque gains? The hp is kinda useless unless you race on a track and can keep the bike in its upper rev range. The torque is really what makes the most difference driving on the street. I really would love a tune that could give a 20 torque increase. That would be crazy and you would notice it soooo much more than extra hp at the top end. I would even give up 10 hp to gain 10 torque because all my riding is on the road so I hardly ever get to use the hp without going so fast I get my bike taken away and end up in jail lol.
