@@StiltbeastStudios Most masks I have are eyeless with big holes and as I use all of my masks on polystyrene heads/props I tend to have an issue to make the masks look right. And most eyeless masks tend to have 35-45mm holes so filling the holes is no easy task (for me). But your principle of ping pong eyes and optic nerves dangling is ideal if I paint the head beneath the masks red/black and the "victim" or "halloween legend" is holding his ripped out eyes. 👍
I would love to see many of the talented people like you join forces and put a haunt on to show case your talents and mix you skills and lead to some incredible F/X maybe do it for charity have Rick Baker and Tom Savini host to get some bigger donations to pay for the materials that would be great!
You are by far my favorite sorry for lack of a better word halloween prop artist..and I've gotten a lot of amazing help from your videos, and just also starting out and would like to ask you a few questions if you don't mind answering and how to go about that.itd be awesome if I could get a few pointers as someone just starting out pls😎💀🤘🏼🤘🏼
Wow!!!I couldn't find pinp pong balls but have two bags of the cheap eyes I don't have a printer but I'm gonna try my best to copy ur technique to the best of my ability!!!
Looks great! It's about that time if year to add to the Halloween party decorations. Your videos were very helpful for making props (that look way better than store bought). Keep up the good work!
Hi Alan! Is this the technique you would use to give eyes to an eyeless mask/head? I always wondered how to make eyes for that. Without the optic nerve of course…thanks amazing work!
I am really loving your videos! Thank you so much. Can you tell me if the stuff from the halloween store is the same as perma blood, i think its called bottle of blood?
It's RU-vid Wednesday! I was so excited to see the notification on my phone. Great work creating these! My only concern is the dollar store item. Where I live, it's hit or miss...usually miss. I would have to spend more most likely at a craft store like Hobby Lobby. But, whatever, love the finished result. I wish permablood was cheaper too, or if there was a killer waterproof diy version. I know you've mentioned 5 minute epoxy with dyes of some kind. Could you do a quick tutorial on this or just a quick explanation? As always, Thank you! 🤘 💀
I'm a novice hot glue user. Would hot glue be too hot for the paper iris in the beginning? I also was guessing you were going to use pipe cleaner for the nerve, but I never thought about fake flowers. There are always good deals in clearance on those. You are opening my mind to see lots of things out of everything. Thank you. I need to buy a shirt from Teespring.
Never worked with permablood before. How does it differ from paints? It looked very dimensional on the video. Is that a one step process? Thanks for the great tutorial as always!
I need help! I have a mask that I want to make onto a prop. But the mask dosen't have any eyes just a big round holes cut out for whoever is wearing said mask. I need to take that mask put in a set of eyeballs in the mask then use spray foam to make the head just a static prop. Do you have any tricks or tips to doctor up a mask by installing eyes/eyelids? cant find anything online that helps.
I would love a whole dozen of these, in a florist's box for Valentine's Day. Giving me rotten ideas for a favorite neighbor. And always include a can of fart spray if it is somebody you truly love. Bah ha ha ha!!!! A pretty red bow finishes it of completely! 🥀🌹🎁💌👁👀
Perma blood paint? Where can i find this? Love this idea! Im working on a character that will have a giant prop eyeball as a hand with a jump scare mechanic and would love to use some techniques here to make it!
