Took the boys out on Father's Day for a fishing trip and it was incredible.
We launched at about 9:30AM out of Marina Del Rey Harbor and headed to a new spot that I gathered some research on. The ocean was flat!!!! We metered around for a few minutes till we located some nice looking marks. I engaged my Spot-Lock and it was game on.
From the moment we started fishing it was Red (Vermilion Rockfish) after Red. We had a blast! We were on the spot at about 10:30AM and were on the way back to the harbor by 11:45AM.
I also dropped down my GoPro in about 200' of water to see what we were over and what we saw was really interesting.
