1. Does the capture card heat up? 2. How’s the captured video in terms of quality? Can you see any blockyness/compression when recording 1080p 60 when there is a lot of moving detail? (3. Can you connect multiple of these on the same time) There are linux users like me who are interested, you didn’t mentioned it but luckily there was a linux logo in the box

When you finally showed what you actually captured right there at the end for a couple of seconds, it did NOT look good. That game was running at like 3 fps

Question: I dont wanna stream, if i did something cool in game and i wasn’t recording, and i use my ps4 to clip the past 5 minutes (the ps4 slim clips on 720p) will i be able to upload the clip to youtube on 1080p?

720p is the usual output, I haven't been able to get 1080p gameplay clips out of the ps4 alone.

Questions is in download movies onto my kids fire tablet or my android phone on platforms like Netflix, Disney, prime video. I go camping where I have no internet to cast. So I am looking for a cable that can mirror whatever movie I downloaded from the tablet without wifi.HDCP encryption seems to be an issue that I cannot play onto my projector. What card can help. i like what i heard & saw on this review - it seems to tick the boxes.on clicking the link (uk link) it takes me to a different product on amazon. has anybody purchased this recently on amazon & can confirm what does arrive once ordered? there are reviews on the alternate product saying it gets hot! the capture card here looks much better too :) any help much appreciated

hdmi splitter.. 1 goes to your monitor (realtime) and 1 goes to your laptop for recording or streaming..

No, it looks continously lagging. It seems it was from the recording software was set to 30fps. This happened all the time because the software automatically set the best settings for your laptop for recording screen.

I'm researching this topic, so how can I connect my computer to this? I want to have the game both on screen and recorded on 2nd comp, do I have to use 2x HDMI on my graphics card or what?

Computer one should go from your graphics card to your computer card on computer two, this can be done using an HDMI splitter or using a secondary port on the graphics card its self. The monitor you would like to capture should be mirrored to the capture card if you are running two cables. Most capture cards act as a monitor on one end (HDMI side) and a webcam on the other (USB side,) And then just pass through the video this way. So in your recording software pass in the video as a webcam. He explains QuickTime in this video at 1:38. If you are using something like OBS, just add it to your sources as a video capture device. Name it and find it in the devices tab.

Mann is that an hackintosh? you put a MAC OPERATING SYSTEM ON A CHROMEBOOK?? Also what about for the users who have windows or chromebook operating systems? how would we do this. Great tutorial for mac users but this video is not recommended for windows or other operating system users
