32 Years, all his songs turned into classics, an irreplaceable voice, a magical guitar duo and a rhythmic base composed by two of the most explosive musicians of the time. The result could not be different from this Jewel !!!! THE BEST POWER METAL ALBUM!

Side note.. One of my favorite Helloween songs is Gorgar off the Walls of Jericho EP.. The only metal song I know of about a pinball machine.

These songs is always been considered as the cheezy song from Helloween as it's kinda poppy. However for those who not musically trained like me, this is the kind of song that automatically made me hook to the band and lead to all their "masterpiece" like eagle fly free, how many tears n others.

I want out is also my favorite. Was a sophomore in high school when the album came out and that has always been my favorite song by them, ever since.

I'm glad I was able to buy their stuff on release.

This really takes me back to the 80's - and I don't think I've heard Dr Stein or Future World since then.

Future World was my first Helloween song. So, it has a special place in my heart. But I want ou simply rocks. \m/ One of my favourites is Twilight of the Gods. (In my opinion, many power metal songs try to be that song.) Some rather unusual Helloween songs I like: - Longing - I don't care, you don't care - You run with the Pack - Revelation - Mission Motherland

I want out is the first song I heard from Helloween and I have being their fan since then... Another special song to me is power, that song has the "Power" to lift anyone's spirits.

Hello from Germany ! Germany has so much cool bands that coming up in the 80´s and most of them exist today. Helloween, Running wild, Grave digger, Heavens gate, Blind guardian, Kreator ,sodom and so on. And some great vocalist like Michael kiske (Helloween) the number one in germany, Thomas Rettke (Heavens gate), Hansi kürsch (blind guardian) oh and surely Kay Hansen (Helloween) then we have Thomas Sammet (edguy,Avantasia). Yeas i think we were blessed with a hole bunch of great klassik metal from germany (For me they are just metal... as igrew up with this... we have rock/ hard rock, metal maybe still thrash, and death metal ...thats all. ok tnt thanks for another great video with nice musik ! oh and im waiting that you react to another klassik metal band it should be react to ...Saxon :)!!! I love them all but for me Dr Stein out of these 3 is the best. You are also correct in saying that Helloween always have a variety of different style songs on their albums compared to other bands, now not everybody likes that but for me it is always something to look forward to. “ hey Lord” by Helloween. Great band, I had a Helloween t-shirt I wore back in 1991 as a freshmen in highschool. It had the Keeper on the front, tour dates on back,. This brings back memories.

From High School to the Army to a small stint in prison, I Want Out has been a theme song for me. I love the lyrics about how everyone has their own points of view and are always trying to get everyone else to see their way but in the end you just want to get out of there. Modern America isn’t it?

I own three Helloween albums and for me it's: I Want Out by far!! It was an MTV Headbangers Ball staple back in the day and is my favorite power metal song!!

Hey! I'd never seen this song as you put it... Like, so similar to Maiden, and come to think about it, it does sound like a Maiden song but in its own way. Now Kiske sounds almost exactly like Dickinson indeed. Well said, man!

I saw Helloween live in Chicago in 2018. I was right up against the stage. It was absolutely incredible. They played for almost 3 hours. Just fantastic.

I like your reaction to these classics! I think most of us had the same one upon first hearing them. Helloween has always been "happy metal" to me, especially during the Kiske years.

Edguy learned a lot from Helloween.. I always thought of Helloween songs as children songs with fast speed metal guitars underneath the melody.

Great band one of first heavy metal bands I followed over the years while growing up. But let’s get serious with these guys. If you want to know the best there is out of this band. It’s their 1996 album the time of the oath. Track 9 (Kings will be kings) proves exactly what they are and it just blows the roof off with drum solos and guitar riffs!

"I want out" is my favorite too. When it came out I was 19 years old and I saw them live as a support band for Iron maiden. Amazing experience.

'Save Us' and 'Don't Run For Cover'

Check out the first Helloween album, Walls of Jericho, especially songs Victim of Fate and Ride the Sky. Apart from first album sounding completely different, and more like speed metal, those songs are just awesome, and Kai Hansen singing that high pitched voice makes me think how is he still talking today.

All 3 songs form the Keeper Of The Seven Keys "double album", which was divided into 2 parts as separate albums, Part 1 and Part 2. Dr Stein and I Want Out are from Part 2, and Future World is from Part 1. In terms of "favorites", I would rank these 3 in the reverse order they were played, lol, which means they were presented in the best context : save the best for last. :-)

Thank you for doing so many videos about Helloween. Please also have a look at Helloween's later work. "Gambling with the Devil" is a brilliant album as well. Personal favorite is "The Saints" or "Dreambound" . Would love to hear your view about those songs.

many years ago I found Wall of Jericho in some music store, mixed in with some other random albums. I took it home and was blown away, by the music but most importantly by the singer. So I started buying more Helloween.. only to find a different singer on them, he was good, sure but the other singer I really loved- fast forward to many years later I found him again-Kai Hansen who now plays lead guitar and sings in Gamma Ray, great band, killer songs!

These are basically all three of their radio singles from the Keeper albums, their most radio friendly stuff from this period. Funny thing about "I Want Out", it was written by Kai, and was about his desire to leave the band at the time. Speaking of which, you should start deep-diving into Gamma Ray too, I guarantee you'll enjoy it as much as Helloween., although there might be more issues with videos getting blocked with Gamma Ray, so i hear. We're still waiting for "The Dark Ride".

Haven't heard these songs in decades! I don't remember the first one, but the 2nd song, & album, I had that cassette in my car's tape player alot! I forgot how much the singer sounds like Bruce Dickinson... Great vid, T...I like the "3 of a kind" kind of vid, just enough jams to get ready to walk the dog! Lol. Plus Lexie, (my dog) loves your videos! She loves music in general, but I think my dog might has a crush on you. Pretty sure they were the pioneers of this style of Power Metal....Or maybe it was Manowar. 🤔 Also, it's kinda crazy to think that Michael Kiske was only 18 when he recorded the first album, and 19-20 when they did Seven Keys Part 2.

These songs are great, but they are my least favorite by Helloween because they are the most overplayed and a bit more simplistic, radio friendly and aimed at a broader audience. You know - mid tempo, have the happy sing-along-to feel. Usually the crowd goes wild on the live performances and they definitely lift up the mood during shows, though, I have seen Helloween live around 5 or 6 times now and I cannot deny that, lol.
