loved the videos thanks Nigel, just saw that when you were talking about the 14mm, in the video you put the wrong samples or maybe only the wrong sample names, DJI 15mm 1.7 instead of 14mm :) keep it up
No I meant to put that one mountain shot of the 14mm there because I was talking about it in that section of the video :) the rest was the 15mm. Thanks for tuning in!
A lot of the work I do I can’t post on my RU-vid channel, but I’ll definitely try to get more content out that shows some practical examples. Thanks for tuning in 👍🏻
What third lens would you buy? I have lumix 14mm 2.5 and olympus 45mm 1.8. I don't like super wide angle lenses. I like general photography nothing specific.
I have G85. Is the Panasonic 42.5mm f/1.7 good for indoor shoots in low light or should I go for Sigma 56mm f/1.4? Is there any difference between f/1.7 and f/1.4 in low light?
I don’t keep both, I currently have the 15mm dji because it balances easier on a Gimbal but the sigma gave me a more usable focal length plus it had weather sealing which the 15 doesn’t have
This is my question too. I have the Sigma 16mm but I’m still interested in picking up the 15mm one day. The aperture ring on the Pan Leica 15mm is pretty amazing.
@@NigelBarrosThanks for answering Nigel! You talk about the sigma in past tense, have you sold it? What kind of filming those 2 lenses cover? Landscape, portrait or mid range? If you had to choose between two, what would be you choice? I now consider Panasonic 15 f1.7, Sigma f1.4, Olympus 17 f1.2
hi, I just bought G85 with 12-35mm f2.8 & looking to buy a prime lens for it. Pretty much use it for B-roll, Portrait, Im thinking 15mm f1.7 OR 42.5mm f1.7. Can you give me a recommendation ?
great video!! so i just wanted to know your thoughts on my kit ...: so i have a GH3 and the 12-35mm for run and gun foto and video shoot and now i want to add a fast prime to my kit. i´ll probably go for the sigma 16mm couse i shoot a lot of street photography but also i´m looking for a portait lens and i´m not sure if i should rather take the panasonic 42.5 1.7 or the sigma 30mm... what would u do in this situation?
Hello from Colombia, thanks for this guide, i got a few questions... 1. Which camera are you using in this video? 2. I'm gonna start on RU-vid and i would like to have that kind of cool bokeh look from this video but i whant to sit closed to the camera cause i would like manipulate and not being walking around my room, so, Which is your recomendation for me? 3. And the last one (sorry), can i use the Gh4 and still have this image and field? (I'm not decided between Gh5 and Gh4, money stuff...) thank you man!
@@eldoctorcastro1999 Yeah I use the GH3 for all my videos, for the wide-angle look with shallow depth of field, you could go with the Panasonic 15mm f1.7, Olympus 12mm f2, Panasonic 12mm f1.4 or the sigma 18-35mm + speedbooster. The Gh4 has an additional crop in 4k so it will be hard to get a wide-angle shot with that camera unless you shoot 1080p, the GH5 has no additional crop in 4k so I'd keep that in mind. Hope that helps!
Thanks for answer to me, I've been seen a lots youtubers Talking About this But You Got the best image and color and blurry background on your videos. I've been seen in the description... You recommended the Panasonic Lumix G7, is less expensive and i Want to Know, if Can I get That Amazing look from this video ? Thanks again i really appreciated.
