I remember pushing around by hand my matchbox or hotwheels cars as a kid and I remember having slot cars and train sets . This is like all three combined and so much more. So cool ! Wish I had this as a kid .
For those who ask where can you buy some of these micro-machines and how much they could cost I have not very good news for all of them. First of all, these incredible 1/87 scale vehicles are all of them 100% HAND MADE and are made only in Germany as a hobby, using different materials. However, the electronics necesary for its control are made in germany for different factories. So, these peoples only buy the electronics and all the rest is made by them self. The Price: Well, as someone say below they are not for sale and only from time to time, some modeller decides to put one on sale via e-bay, but the price is extremely expensive !. For example, a normal truck with an hydarulic crane (they really has and hydraulic pump inside, as the real thing) fully operational was sold not much time ago for EU$ 17.000. Yes, I'm not kidding !. Beside, is very rare to find one of them on sale anywhere and also you can't ask a modeller to build one for you. Maybe in the future, some company decides make these marvels in mass production, but for now we only could watch them on YT. Cheers, John.
As a Bonus, I can tell you guys that now is starting this hobby in N Scale !. For the moment, they only are capable to build Van type vehicles (the wolkswagen Kombi, for being precise), because of the size of the electronics that still is too much big for N Scale !. Can you believe that !. Cheers.
Just totally amazing what can be done today. The realism is beyond belief. The suspensions and responses are so realistic. The vintage 1930/40s heavy trucks and buses are my favorites. You've gained a sub for sharing this, thanks.
Thanks a lot, great that you like it. These are motorized self printed or Herpa showcase models. The RU-vid channel "Der Theoretiker" makes some tutorials, but in German language.

WOW!! How have I NOT gotten this in my recommendations? I always watch 1:64 scale Hot Wheels racing as well as customizing. Also diorama set ups as well. And your set up is INCREDIBLE!! I love the street lights, the stop lights, and all the shrubs. Amazing detail. I haven't even gotten started on the RC truck. Which BTW is so sick it blew me away. Awesome set up and GREAT VIDEO. I am now a sub and would have been had I seen any content like this.

You know you might be able to find parts and convert a 1/87 model car or maybe a bit bigger into rc that’s what most of these people do but with things like the forklift that’s going to be hard and most people probably can’t do it

It's as if people don't want money. I cant find anywhere to buy these. I guess i'll just keep giving thousands of dollars to big name RC companies since no one apparently wants the money in this genre of RC. I'd be happy to pay for the craftsmanship. Shocking no one wants to make a ton of money.
These are mostly Herpa or Wiking showcase models, motorized and modified to RC. The Skidder is even completely hand made, the body is 3D printed. Usually the builders are not selling them. Maybe you are lucky in a forum or ebay.
Does anyone know what the name of first vehicle is? or where a kit of one could be bought? i want to surprise my father with it since he is trying to create a RC log carrier for our model railway, and im stumped to all hell trying to find it
Gotta keep your eye out on eBay and look at micro rc forums for sale sections. People do sell them sometimes but be aware they are almost all hand built and require a transmitter.
@@GP9railfan Thank you for answering my question, but I'm sure it's not a desk runner. What I'm asking is the name of the micro rc vehicle in the video at 1:00. Desk runner cannot run as smoothly as in the video.
