I have had one for a couple of years. Even when you press the button to keep the backlight on, it has great battery life. I never found this in the instructions but if you're looking for a menu button on fire devices Ctrl+esc brings up menu
Thank you so much for your review, been searching all over for a BT keyboard with backlit keys to fit my needs. Your review hits on all the points I needed to know about, again thanks!
Looks good. I'm going to upgrade my Android box really soon, most of my apps run so slowly it's hard to take. I'll definitely look into this and the other one I saw in a couple other comments. Thanks for the info TripleM.
I have bought 3 of these over the past few years. The first, something was wrong. The second I started to modify. I took the 3.7v 280mah battery from the first one and I soldered all three batteries in and connected them in parallel. Now I have 840 mah and the thing lasts forever. The third one I have, I will add a JST plug plus an external project case and I have a 2000mAH battery to install. Great keyboard. I just need more juice!!!
@@JeffWF73 settled on 2, 1100mAh batteries soldered directly to the board in parallel. After 1st cycle keyboard now runs over 30 days. Takes 8 hours to charge though. Worth it!
I see that this device doesn't use a USB dongle/receiver. Are there other Bluetooth mini keyboards that can pair directly with a device without the need for a USB dongle/receiver?
Awesome review brother M. Much appreciated. Looks like a nice keyboard. Keep the content coming. Hope you and your family are staying safe and enjoying your weekend. Much love and RESPECT
Awesome video like always, every now and then I take a look at your old videos and always learn something. Thanks if I pair the keyboard, can I still use the remote control? Thanks
I have one. It has 2 E buttons and no W button. Also, it will not connect to my Nvidia Shield (gets as far as "connecting", then fails). Odd, since basically anything with a Bluetooth radio will connect to my Shield--except the Fosman keyboard. It does however work fine with my son's Samsung tablet, and the 2nd E works as a W. So I gave it to my son. Also, the backlight never has worked. It's a good concept. It just needs a more competent firm to realize it.
Hey hi. That bluetooth keyboard looks pretty cool but I don't see the arrow kays. I see "page up", "page down" "left" and "right" keys below the mouse pad. Can we use these keys as arrow keys? Thanks a lot.
I have one of these mini keyboards with the orange pads on it and whilst it's ok to use the fact that you have to hold down the Fn key to use the F Keys is a pain in the arse. Would have been better if the F keys were the default instead of the multi media keys.
Good Looking keyboard and i like that is bluetooth and no need for a dongle. Only down fall i see is that the keyboard looks tiny. lol i would be hitting 3 keys at once.
For someone with big thumbs the buttons are badly placed...feels weird because the keyboard extends too far for a comfy grip...nonetheless it is a petty handy gadget...got it off Aliexpress for less than $5
Tried to use it with Android. But onscreen keyboard always appears whenever I want to use an external one. Is it possible to hide an onscreen keyboard while using it. Thank you

Im trying to add mine to my android box "onn box" the Bluetooth menu gets to the pair command and kicks off the orginal remote?? And still wont connect
I have 15 different types they all work in my shield. . I’m moving to a bigger size key board. The keyboards are just not big enough in these or. Any of mine so I’m getting a much bigger one. They’re just too small. For me. And I’ll. Instagram you a picture lol
Ok, I have this to use on Windows 10. The problem is, when it times out, I cannot get it going again, unless I unpair and re pair! What the hell!!!! I try the FN + W key, and sometimes it works, most times not. Anyone have any idea? I am using a Bluetooth dongle....
Worst keyboard ever. You have to use this before you start giving positive reviews. It won't last past 3 months Rii8 is way better. This looks good. Joystick style keyboard it Noooooooo
