Lol first thing I thought of when I seen the video. Last time cosco had cards was early 1990's. Wonder if the print runs are getting close to junk wax numbers?

I think of it as the junk parallel era.

@@doylee30 The production of Topps Flagship since around 2021 has gone up 90%. There are a lot of similarities occuring now that occurred during the Junk Wax era. I'm no expert, but I'm seeing so many rookie cards of 1 player with all the variations and TONS of parallels, foil cards of rookies etc. etc. I don't see how printing/creating a flood of rookie cards for 1 player is a good thing- as one example. I remember chasing the 89 Upper Deck Griffey Rookie Card. That was the card to get. Now, there's like soooooo many rookie cards of Julio Rodriguez, Bobby Witt Jr, Wander Franco, Acuna, etc. etc. all with variations, parallels, etc. etc. Don't see how they'll hold value, long term.

Please stop comparing this to the Junk wax era back in the 90’s. There’s no comparison in the types of products shown here and the cards of the late 80’s and early 90’s. In addition, the print runs were tremendously higher in the early 90’s. The new products have short prints, inserts, SSP’s, autos, parallels, numbered cards, etc. There’s no comparison. Plus, it’s best that these flagship products are always available for collectors of all ages.
