This has to be the best channel I have come across in a long time. My nephew is high function autistic. He is an amazing kid. I love seeing the love that surrounds this family and this little girl. It's important that kids on the spectrum or any child with special needs feel that they are special, important, smart, and in no way different. They are who they are just like everyone else. I just love this family.

That was such a sweet moment, how Abbie invited Priscilla to come sit with her, on the couch outside, so beautiful!! 😊😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍💖💖💖 Wow! Those fidget toys do look- like a whole lot of fun 😁 The part with Asa being silly was hilarious 😂😂😂😂💕

I loved all the demo of the fidget toy. I'm going to order one and check out what else is available. I am a Children's Pastor. We have 2 older children on the autism spectrum and twin almost 4-year-old boys who were just put on the spectrum (is that how you say it?) in our church family. It really made me sad when you posted the comment about not being able to go to church because you didn't have the support there you needed for Abbie. I'm so proud of my volunteers who totally love on these children, and for the most part, they can be part of the group. It's also ok when they can't handle the noise or stress or being off routine, we have a place close by that is quiet. I have learned so much from you guys. Thank you for putting your lives out there in order to teach and encourage others. So jealous of your weather, Morden, Manitoba, Canada, -12 C with windchill feels like -21 C. (10 F feels like -4) No sitting outside here.

Abigail is so lucky for awesome parents. What absolutely melt my heart. Her and brothers interaction.

My mom is a spec ed teacher and she uses a flow ring in her class every morning to get the kids to say hi to each other. They say hi and then shake hands and pass on the flow ring. It's been a great way to get the kids communicating(except the very stubborn little guy who just uses his communication device to say bye until you give up and give him back his straw!!)

When I in Japan people we celebrated “white day” on March 14th which was the day you returned gifts to the people who gave you gifts and chocolate on Valentine’s Day. Abbie’s late cards can be white day cards :)

No make up Pricilla is my favorite Pricilla. I can see why you’re so into her, Asa. The tiredness or distracted ness in her eyes is captivating. I know that might not sound like a compliment but I mean it honestly, super pretty.

Abbie's doing so well brushing her teeth! Does she still use training toothpaste or does she use the regular now? My daughter still tries to eat the toothpaste so we put a little crest mixed in with training toothpaste.

Did u guys hear of the twist fidget toys? I think it’s called twine, it kinda reminds me of that toy even tho they are nothing alike lol. But to me twine it’s like a never ending puzzle, it’s like you are trying to I guess.... to break it... or get it loose or something idk it’s hard to explain but it’s my fave fidget toy so far. This toy would probably be my favorite but I just wanna buy it first 😂

I fathering autism I am a huge fan of your Channel. I really like what you're doing with Gemini and these videos to try and get Abigail to talk. I think instead of using Gemini as a cure-all people should just use it as another form of therapy the way you're using it. Autism doesn't need to be cured it needs to be accepted. Instead of curing autism we need to meet more people aware of it. It seems that a lot of people with autistic adults want to institutionalize them. I don't agree with this because institutions are not good places for people with Autism or any kind of disability. The reason that they want to institutionalize. We want to make that stop by promoting awareness. I kind of agree with you on that one. I started a Facebook page called institutions quote suck quote, the growth out of you. I started this page to show how bad institutions are for people with disabilities. I also started this to make people aware about how bad is it to Shane's are. I think institutions are not a solution to the problem as a permanent living situation. I think they should be used as a temporary living situation for transition only into adulthood. And they should also be used as day programs for when they move into the community. I feel like that would be a better use of Institutions and it would be better for everyone. Good luck on using Gemini with Abigail, but just to let you know if you use it as a cure-all It will make people less and less aware of autism. All's it will do is show that autism can be cured and make parents want to find other ways to cure their children of autism. I am not being mean I am just telling it like it is.

Ok, I’m confused about respite. Our Regional Center told us about respite for our daughter, but it’s just paying someone that’s not a member of your family to babysit. But the way you talk about it, it seems like a therapy or special activity. Is it something different for you? I’m in California, so it could be different by state. We haven’t taken advantage of respite yet because I don’t trust many people with my daughter. 😂

I have a really random question that I thought of whilst watching the blog, I've noticed that Abby blinks alot and then I thought of how you could test her eyes as far as I'm aware they can only test your eyes with verbal feedback, like you looking at the chart and saying what you can and can't see. So my question is how does that work with Abby and has she ever had her eyes tested?

I think you guys should make a video that's just for new members where you introduce yourselves and introduce people to your channel and do kind of like an advertisement thing.

They may have said this in a previous video, but does anyone know if schools like Abbies have special effective ways to deal with possible active shooters? I imagine it would be difficult to keep kids calm in any situation especially if they may not understand whats going on. Also with stimming, like Abbies yelling, how are they able to keep everyone quiet?

Good job on the vigil. As there is no simple answer or solution to this or any mass shooting/event your doing your part through the channel and community events like this-- to make the world a little better than how it was; if only everyone could do this think how the world may be.
