This property has new owners. However, it will remain in the Marriott family after the renovation as it will be rebadged Delta Hotel by Marriott. Hotel Knoxville is just a filler name while the hammers are pounding and the dust is flying.

I was in a hotel similar a few years ago. It was the Hyatt Place Hotel in Minneapolis MN

These were fabulous elevators when I lived in Knoxville. Certainly, love the up and down indicators too. So geometrical :)

This was not a bad mod! It has to be on its original controller. There are some OTIS elevators at the Financial Center in Des Moines, IA, but they are modding them sadly. You can tell that it’s in the original controller due to the classic levelling. Awesome video DieselDucy :)

These are being modded........with Innovation Prestige.... Not sure who is doing it, but stay tuned when I upload my video!!! These are very fun elevators and the architecture is pretty cool, but I think we can all agree it is hilariously outdated and not in a good way as it's pretty rundown, and while the elevators do run just fine, I could see them needing at least another slap on mod and new cabs... The panels and cabs are rather worn out and dilapidated.....

They totally copied the atrium from the Hyatt Recency Embarcadero.
