How long did it take you to learn this routine? I want to do something similar for my upcoming wedding. You two are my inspiration. Thinking about taking some basic swing and then some Lindy Hop dance lessons. I've watched this many times, and it doesn't get old for me. I love the chemistry you both share. It's so cute.
We would just go dancing together and I would practice swing from youtube and watching others. This dance was only practiced three days before the wedding though!!
+Joshua Wells Wowowowowo! How did you manage to make the side car, all around the world, and the others look so effortless?! I thought you were dance teachers at least. Lol Do you think that your wife being petite and fit makes the aerials a lot easier to do? I'm not petite but tall and slim. My fiancé has a hard time swinging me from side to side. We are about the same height. We watch a lot of RU-vid swing videos too. My wedding is in August, so we've been practicing. :) Thank you for the reply. It's much appreciated!
Both of you can really help to make all of the moves seem smoother and more controlled. When practicing, both of you should really focus on your body position during the moves. The closer you are to his body while dipping, the smoother it will feel. If you dip, with his lead and try and hold your bodyweight whenever possible, it will make you feel extremely light. Also, when he dips you, he should try to stand over the dip, so he can support the dip with his legs and in some dips rest your whole body on his one leg(thigh). We would love to see your dance! Keep up the good work, and remember to always have fun!!

Because even as a former dancer and cheerleader myself, years later a lot of those moves look impossible to me! Lol plus...add in my uncoordinated fiancé and it could be a recipe for disaster lol but that was honestly awe inspiring!!! And you could feel the love and respect you had for each other in every move you guys made! 😍Well our dance won't be like yours was, but I'll show it to our instructor anyway and hope for the best lol 😉👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Danielle G Good luck to you! My wedding is August 6th and we're going to foxtrot for the first part, and swing the last. I fell and got so many bruises, along with arthritis, so be careful! My fiance is uncoordinated as well and can't dance freely on his own, so I feel you. I hope you have a happy wedding!
